The show has been enjoying slowly teasing and semi-revealing the Gotham antihero's. But making "The Joker" an ideology and not a single, maniacal, character. That is a major change to the Batman Universe. And I am hoping that after the joker fad spreads through Gotham, they bring back the Joker. Batman's main enemy has and always will be the joker as a person, not some "ideology" as the big boss of Gotham has decided. With this major change, I'm afraid of what else will be decided is a "smart or clever" change to an iconic story. Simply put, there is one golden rule when producing widely known stories. DON'T CHANGE THE CENTRAL CHARACTERS.
