Numb3rs

I came across this show when looking for a new series to watch during mid season breaks. I am so glad it was this show.

Although there are different cases each episode there is still a continuing storyline that shows the personal lives of the characters allowing me as the viewer to enjoy getting to know the character and develop my own opinions on each character.

Each episode shows practical uses of mathematical theories which is fascinating in itself - showing that there are more creative ways to use numbers, and all the trig and algebra that we learnt at school has productive uses other than to torture and stress students out!

Sons of Anarchy

I only came across this show due to a running commentary from a colleague who could only rave about Jax and his shenanigans.

After watching only one episode I was hooked and managed to binge watch four seasons and become obsessed with counting down the days for the next episode or the next series.

Having developed a major crush on Charlie Hunnam and becoming too heavily involved in his Sons of Anarchy story. I found that although he was a very disturbed yet perhaps understood individual, I was rooting for him all the way to the series finale.

I would highly recommend this extremely underrated show as the story is gripping, the acting from the whole cast is on pointe and the writing is epic (many thanks, Kurt Sutter).
