I love Buffy for being strong and practically unbreakable. Love the humour, the fantastic characters, the acting, and all the work that went into making monster costumes.

NINE NINE!

I can never think of anything bad to say about this show. In fact, I dare anybody to have something bad to say about this show. It's brilliant, hilarious, stuffed to bursting with fantastic actors and amazing dialogue, features a very diverse cast of characters - and some extremely unique ones. (Gina Linetti, anyone?)

This is the one show I'll never get tired of re-watching. Nine Nine, everyone!

A very sweet and funny TV show.
Boss Baby: Back in Business is a spin off of the Boss Baby movie. It brings wholesome entertainment to the table, but not in a naive or childish fashion. It's a great laidback watch, although if you're watching it with your cats, prepare for them to feel offended. :P

MILD SPOILERS

I'm glad this show was renewed, because I had a bad feeling about it. Black Lightning is a solid and dependable show. Superheroes with families are not all that common, and a superhero family is a whole other thing.
Sadly, I also found the show to be slow, and a little boring at times. Hopefully, they will have found their sea legs by season 2

The Big Bang Theory

Big Bang Theory was well received when it first aired, but the show has done little to evolve since. The persistent sexism and chauvinistic nature of the male protagonists continues to be an ever present turn off. Being a loser and owning it can only take you so far where likeability is concerned, peeps, and for the love of God, Howard, make dinner for a change!

Arrow

The best thing about Arrow is Arrowverse. If I were asked to list the Arrowverse shows (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow) in order of preference, Arrow would find itself at the bottom. Somehow, despite the best efforts of Felicity's character, the show never seems to escape being dominated by somewhat boring male characters. The finale of the most recent season may perhaps be able to change that, and inject some much needed non-obnoxiousness into Oliver Queen's character.

Arrested Development

While I expect my shows to "Do Better", I'm also a bit of a sucker for stoner/ dudebro comedy at times. Arrested Development makes good use of unusual narrative formats and is definitely not afraid to experiment. Wacky, zany, and bizarre are all good words that can be used to describe it. Unfortunately, the problematic actions of stars like Jeffrey Tambour off screen make it difficult to support this show - more so when the cast and crew don't seem to be very interested in condemning such actions.

Anne with an E

I had great hopes for Anne with an E when I first heard about it. Hearing about how the show would be introducing darker themes to make it more realistic didn't even bring out the purist in me - it's not as if the story hasn't had more faithful screen adaptations.
But there is such a thing as taking away from the soul of a story, and twisting its characters beyond recognition. That's the impression I got off of watching the first season, and I have to say I'm not looking forward to watching the second season.
That being said, Amybeth McNulty has given an outstanding performance

Angel

Angel is like the adult version of Buffy. It manages to balance dark and humorous well, and boasts of great performances. It does feel a little odd for me though, as I'm watching it in 2017 & 18 - decades after the show was filmed.

American Gods

A good adaptation of Neil Gaiman's beloved novel, the show fleshes out minor but pivotal characters and combines the impact of that with stunning visual effects and cinematography. Well directed, and well acted. The only problem I have with this show was that I felt the season ended on a flat note, and lacked the kind of hook that gets viewers to wait impatiently for season 2.
