The drama is intriguing, and the fashion undeniable. While their performances are top notch, this is another show that is fast becoming outdated. It is no longer easy - or advisable - to root for a character like Chuck Bass or Dan Humphrey, anymore.

One of the few shows I was able to binge watch, after having watched it week by week since it first began airing. Beautiful and innovative scripts for each season for the most part, with heartwarming and wholesome focus on love, family, and adventure. Even with most of the main cast leaving before the final season, the last season was as strong as any of the others, which speaks volumes as to how they managed to keep each and every member of this large cast valued and loved by the audience.

I'm overdue for a rewatch. Hiddleston and Laurie give captivating performances. Unfortunately, with them dominating screen time and script, there isn't much space for anybody else, not even any female characters. The the female roles that do stand out are abused damsels in distress, so that's a little disappointing.

A light, fun comedy, if a little predictable.

A fun throwback to the original show.

A heartwarming series about familial bonds and friendships. Rory can be a little colourless at times, but Lorelai makes up for it.

A terrible desecration of a great series of books, obsessed with gratuitous violence against women and all forms of negative portrayals of homosexuality, sex work, female characters in general. The writing shows no nuance and is filled with plot holes. The show's saving graces have been great CGI, locations, costumes and performances, but the bad writing does all of that a great disservice.

Known for its comedy and well-loved characters, this show is fast becoming outdated in a world that doesn't take transphobia and Ross' terrible misogyny as well as it used to.

Arrow's lighthearted cousin show delivers on great comedy, wonderful and likeable characters, and plenty of action. The villains haven't been as up to the mark in recent seasons, but the rest of the show makes up for it so you don't really mind.

While the character of Dexter is certainly fascinating, the writing throughout the show has some rather unfortunate misogynistic undertones. Female characters are consistently treated badly and fridging is far too common. It did throw up some memorable performances, however, including that of Jonny Lee Miller.
