Queensie

First things first, I am no fan of Elena or Bonni. Unfortunatly the show is build around the first and it is´nt easy to get around the second either. The Elena-charakter is an example for an hypocrite and despite some obvious changes around her and her life, her personality always stays the same anyway. At the same time Bonnie seems fine with judging people most of the time and then helping them just enough so she can go back to judging them. Of course she uses double standards as well. Katherine on the other hand is refreshing for she doesn´t try to hide her selfish ways. My reason for following the show would actually be Caroline. In my opinion she shows the most development and is able to show some selfcriticism. I like that. For the boys, well, Stefan was a bit annoying at the beginning, but he´s gotten around to being a bit more laid back. It suits him. Damon is always in love with the wrong person, so this kind of weakens his charakter. It would have been a good idea to allow him some development as well, like taking care of himself in other ways than just numbing bis heart and nursing his wounds with one drink after another.
So after this charakter evaluation I would have to say they should do more for the charakters than just make them easy to look like. The story would propably grow with it as well. But as long as it is centered mostly around an annoying Elena, that may not be happen so soon.
