How do I love thee, Television, let me count the ways. I simply love television and all the possibilities the medium contains. Be it mini series, long arcs in drama series or clutching my stomach from laughing at the antics in a sitcom. I'm especially down for a some dramatic comedy or comedic drama. I'm amazed by web series and floored over consistent character development. I have a deep love for British series, flawed characters and one hit wonders among other things.

RocketJump: The Show

It is an interesting idea for sure and RocketJump is fascinating production company, but it just didn't translate to a coherent show.

I've only ever watched the pilot of Game of Thrones, yet I enjoyed seeing the show set in high school. These people clearly had fun and I feel like the characters translated well into this setting. Just a fun little watch.

Such a weird adventure that makes no sense, yet is utterly delightful. You can just tell that they had fun making this which makes me happy when I watch it.

Sweet coming of age story about being stuck in a world where you don't seem to fit in. These lovable idiots are quickly became very dear to me and I watched all the episodes fairly quickly because I wanted to know more about them.

Compelling alternate take on Frankenstein. The science is fascinating, and despite the lack of warmth from Victoria Frankenstein you really grow to love her and her friends. The great acting from the cast makes the scenes dynamic despite the lack of camera movements.

I'm really sad this show didn't get to explore the two great worlds it set up. It is filled with raw emotional drama and generally thought provoking, and to add to that there is the whole mystery of which world is real AND some cases out dear detective has to figure out. Such a great little show!

This was such a delightful look at how Doctor Who started. I knew nothing of the origin story of the show, so I might be easy to please, but this made me smile and had great performances from all involved, both behind and in front of the camera.

Yeeeees! This show is awesome. Cal, Thom and all their romantic and sexual entanglements are super engaging and I can't help but want more. The supporting cast is diverse and quickly shows themselves to be three dimensional characters of their own. So worth watching, if for nothing else because the cast is droll worthy.

This has everything. Love, sisters, bickering, heartbreak and fun. While I've never read the book, from what I know this feels like a great modern adaption and it keeps the focus on the sister, so what more could you want. Girl Power!

Excellent modern adaptation showing Peter Pan as the embodiment of the man-child trope. The actors are engaging to watch and while the story is familiar it is still refreshing and new. It has humour, romance and most importantly Friendship. Watch and fall in love.
