Feels like a slightly better focused version of Underemployed, with only slightly more likeable characters. It's probably a good thing THIS show came out in 2017 and not 2012, huh?

How many times can I see this show before growing bored? 9 so far!

It's funny, yeah, but what I think gets me the most is Rhea and Carmen talking about their thoughts behind every episode. It is almost flooring to see how much careful thought they had to put into every joke and scene, just because they are making an LGBT+ show with 2 woman leads and they wanted to do right by all of their LGBT+ woman viewers.

the show is visually pretty and employs good actors but is unimaginative, unoriginal, and utterly underwhelming. aims to shock but leaves me unimpressed. every episode has a twist and every single twist is predictable.

Couldn't even get through the first episode, I kept cringing. I'm sure it's a good show but it's so hard not to be embarassed by the main character.

edit: i'm watching it finally and it is very good. too much sceond hand embarassment, still. not for a bad day

edit post finale: I don't know how to feel about it. My rating stays the same but the finale was exactly what I expected and if the season leading up to it wasn't so underwhelming I probably would have liked it anyway, predictable as it was. But the season was boring and it didn't even slightly focus on the things I wanted it to focus on (literally anything other than ship drama) so by the finale I just couldn't get myself to care.

It is SOOO fun and funny but if you have a problem with second-hand embarassment, keep in mind that there's a lot of it here.

Hah, I actually think Superstore is a lot better. I mean, if you only have time for one Supermarket based tv comedy, I say go with Superstore.

Ugh, we all get it, Daphne is deaf. Why does that give her an excuse to act like a brat? They need to give Bay a break. The show has some really gross moments but overall it's pretty fun to watch.

Yeah, girls, beat those rapists up! Jules needs a hug.
