Used to be a 5, now it's a 4. This show is one of the last strongholds of unmoderated humor. They are not politically correct, they are not shying away from dark humor, and they know who their characters are.
Each and every one of main characters has grown since episode 1, and their growth is completely aligned to who they were from the beginning.
Funny and engaging, this show always has something to say.
If you asked me what i think of Arrow in the first season, I would have screamed "You have failed this city" like a fangirl ought to. If you asked me what i think during the second and third season, i would have told you that it is exceptional television. But, a lot has changed since. Ollie we all knew and loved is now stuck in a neverending string of repeating cliche plots. No trust, fights with team members, will they won't they - it seems like a fun-hating group of people who never even read Green Arrow comics are in charge of what happens next. I'm still watching out of sheer loyalty, but another bad plot is something even I won't be able to handle. Hope the writers get out of their funk, and suck some new blood into the team, otherwise, it will be bye bye for Ollie and the team in the next season.
Fantastic show, great plot, interesting idea, but has certain flaws, holes in the plot. Luckily, Priyanka Chopra is such an amazing appearance, most people (myself included) are willing to overlook mistakes writers make. All in all, engaging and amusing new show.
Funny, interesting, great actors, interesting plot. Great use of Rory and subtle links aimed at Doctor Who. Not sure if they will mess it up the way they have done with Arrow and Flash lately. For now, it's great and fun, and entangling, and characters have chemistry, they are relatable, inteligent, and fun. Watch it, just don't get too attached, just in case CW messes it up.
Completely unexpected subject for a tv show, different plot, unexpected twists... if you forgot what real sci fi should be like - this will be your cup of tea. Characters are rellatable, no one is iconic - no one is pure good, or pure evil, they grow, change, while still being apparently human and true to themselves. You will love them, hate them, but you will not stop watching, because even if you rage at the story development, you will want to see where the characters end up next.
Great show, even though it's not strictly based on the Barry Allen - Flash comic (from any Earth), it does have that comic quality - it captures attention, making you wait for the next episode with curiosity and excitement. Effects are more than decent (considering it is a tv show), and even though the characters are not yet fully built, i believe this show will last through years to come. Honestly recommend it for any sci fi, comic, DC, light comedy-action fan out there.
If you expect to see an exact copy of the book, you will be extremely disappointed, but, if you approach these mini series as a completely new fiction, only loosely based on the novel, you will be delighted! I loved it, and watched the entire thing in one day!
Humoristic, interesting, new view of the Devil and his minions. A plot that gets you invested, and still not tired. Too bad they got cancelled.
1st episode great - everything else, complete and utter bullshit!!! I didn't watch something as dumb, as completely void of humor ever!
Show started off strong, i loved the entire Boris mystery, but it's getting weaker and weaker by the episode now, i just hope they do something new and exciting, or i'll stop watching. Anyways, my honest suggestion - watch first threee seasons, maybe season four, and then stop.
