Taking place two years after the events of Last Exile, the new series is set in another world where there is a war with the powerful Ades Federation conquering the Kingdom of Turan. The titular protagonist Fam Fan Fan and her friend Giselle Collette are Sky Pirates who get involved in the war when they rescue Princess Millia of the Turan Kingdom.
