Wayward Pines

I saw the trailer for this show long ago and I was intrigued, and then I saw Terrence Howard (I'm not a fan). I decided it was too intriguing to pass this up. I learned later that this was an M. Night Shyamalan production, and I must say I wavered again (The Sixth Sense will remain his magnum opus). For the first five episodes, I was rolling my eyes constantly, but I decided to see it through. The concept was interesting and original (I know some will dispute this and I accept I may be wrong), but the actions of the characters kept annoying me. Despite all of this, I think it's a show everyone should watch once because its creators made the right choice my making this a miniseries. The last episode was really good, I jumped several times.

The perfect mix of Gilmore Girls and Bunheads.

Unfortunately, there aren't many things I like about Quantico. I am drawn to the plot and I like that there are a lot of new faces. However, there is something off about this show. I can't put my finger on it just yet. I will say this, the romantic pairing between Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) and Booth (Jake McLaughlin) has no aspect of chemistry. There is more chemistry between Simon and Nimah (who I was sadden to learn is not a real twin, boo-hoo). I think the story line involving the director, her son, and the almost school shooting is odd in that it didn't ruin her career because of proximity. I'm enjoy the mystery so far, so I'll keep watching for now.

This is another good British miniseries. I think if American networks included more miniseries in their lineups, then they would have steady ratings. Also, some shows out there shouldn't be drawn out to 20+ disjointed episodes. The two failures that Safe House does have are the parallel story lines and the ending.

This is a great miniseries. It's half crime drama and half documentary. It's a great watch. The word of the day is MYOGLOBIN.

At first I gave this three stars, because I like JLH and I don't mind the supernatural/paranormal as a show concept. With that said, this was not the kind of show that I needed to actively pay attention to (so not engaging). I half watched and played AlphaBetty or online window shopped or edited videos. I downloaded all five seasons and I must warn that season four is the worst (the plot concept is completely dumb). Unfortunately, I may finish the series because it's summer and there isn't much on.

The Amazing Race

I've watched almost every season, the seasons I've missed are because I have no interest in rooting for any of the teams. What I enjoy about this show is seeing new places, learning about their culture. I get to live vicariously through the contestants.

British comedies speak to me, it's like they are in my head, saying the things I wish I could or do and people don't get. Funny, so watch!

When I watch this show, sometimes I love Monk and other times he annoys me. It's fun and easy to enjoy. Great show.

I love this show! I get really excited right before it comes on. Rahul Kohli is 6 feet 4 inches of British hotness. The beard folks, the beard.
