Enjoyed the show, Lance Gross is so freaking hot (THOSE LIPS)! Gillian Anderson is a gem. I am not surprised it got cancelled. The concept was not made for a TV series. When will America get it, miniseries are okay.
I love British period dramas with great costuming and amazing estate homes, and Downton has it all. I thoroughly enjoyed season 1, seasons 2 and 3 dragged a bit and caused me to check out. Then out of boredom and the craving to hear British accents, I started from the beginning and watched the first 3 seasons in a month and got hooked again. Now, I'm to episode 6 in season 5, and it's become a nail-biter again.
I like Gordon Ramsay. I think he provides the same no-nonsense truth that Simon Cowell provides. It is needed, folks. Now, back to the show, it is funny and sad at the same thing. Not sad in a boo-hoo way, but sad in the way that I can't believe those people have a company (Bastards!).
GREAT SHOW! A true British mystery. I hope there is another season.
It's funny...the father, the youngest daughter and the middle son.
Jaime Bell is hot! I could watch and listen to him all day long. Oh, and the show is good.
I started watching the show before I knew it was another remake of The Bridge (BTW, the US version is a remake). I will eventually watch The Bridge, when my schedule frees up. This is a really great show. The difference between the Brits and us is that they aren't afraid to make a miniseries...not everything is meant to be a 22-episode series.
If I were on this show, I would never make a deal with Mr. Wonderful. I watch this show because one day I hope to own and operate a successful and profitable business. I learn a lot from the sharks. There is a certain amount of humor when the contestants reveal their faults.
Great show, great acting/actors, and I can't wait to see where the people behind the show take it. Genuinely, an edge-of-your-seat kind of show.
A clever show that could have been easily serialized like a Father Brown. Enjoyable, nothing mold breaking, but indeed enjoyable.
