Very dark and disturbing. Knew it would not last.
Each short episode is one British couple meeting up in pub, just prior to their weekly marriage counseling appointment and the conversation that takes place. Finally something new, different, intelligent and worth watching.
A very interesting period murder drama that worth watching.
A show centering around a fire house & ambulance crew, a police department and the 911 center taking the emergency calls. I do appreciate the addition of the elements that a 911 call center faces. I do like how they also display the personal lives of the characters. The calls seem believable. There’s something about this show that just doesn’t make it a top show, for me. I don’t know if it’s the pace or the filmography, but something is off. It lacks some kind of vibrant energy. It could possibly be that I don’t truly buy Peter Krause’s role as the Fire Captain.
Ancestry.com and various genealogists help celebrities find their ancestral roots. I enjoy watching this show, to find more ways to do my own research. Their results are very interesting to watch.
Another talent competition series. I love James Corden as the host. I’m not really seeing anything on this that would be considered different nor new, let alone “World’s Best”. Cirque du Soleil has people that can twirl by their hair and teeth. The one that created his large string instrument is truly talented, but he was also on AGT a few years ago and didn’t win that. There’s a 15 yr old ventriloquist that could outperform the one on this show. I like the judges in their careers, but not as judges here. They’re constantly uplifting. That’s not a bad thing, just not realistic.

An award winning period drama about an investigation into a serial killer. The setting and the characters will transport you back in time. But the case itself feels more like that could have taken place today. Interesting to watch.
It’s a very raw dark comedy about an uncaring generation, that claims most life goals are trivial, when in reality those goals are things they want, but might feel are unobtainable. You won’t be falling out of seat laughing, but it does give you empathy for those dealing with mental health issues and those deplorable childhoods.
Teams racing around the world until one of the final 3 teams arrives first. Out of all the reality shows on TV, this is among one of the shows that probably has the least amount of scripting. It’s fun to watch the competitions.
An American series that first aired in Australia and is just now airing here in the states, but on a channel many do no get, WGN. A show about a special team that tries to help the abducted. One of the team members, was once abducted and held for 5 years. This show could have very easily survived a major American network and I’m very surprised it never made it that far.
