A spin-off of “Black-ish”, the oldest daughter is on her path through college. When she was on “Black-ish” she had this snide know-it-all attitude, but on “Grown-ish” she’s learning, just as most college students, that life isn’t as easy as she thought, when you’re no longer among the most popular. Learning that every behavior has consequences, good and bad. It’s a much better show than most would expect.

A very raw display about a “religion” that wants to control their flock. No matter how much Scientologist try to fight this show and it’s message, it sends a clear message that truths aren’t always revealed until it’s too late for the members. and their families.

So Earth was too toxic to stay. A small civil action heads to space, only to learn that they are running out necessities to survive. So they send “troubled” teens to earth to learn if it’s possible to return, but expect them to die. Yet, the teens do better than expected. The 1st season was worth watching. Even the 2nd season was ok. From that point on, it became chaotic in the writing and adding more civilizations, with even more issues. The writers turned the entire show into one constant fight, distancing from creativity. Not entertaining any longer. Though it will be a cult fave to some.

When plastic surgery goes wrong, these doctors are good enough to fix it correctly. I applaud them when they fix mistakes by bad doctors, that should have never occurred in the first place. You can always count on one patient per episode to come in with some illogically wished proceedure, that they always turn away. Curiosity gets the best of us.

A soap opera type story of very rural people and connection to the White House. Tyler Perry wrote this and frankly I can’t tell if he’s making fun of soap operas or it’s just a very poorly written drama. Don’t waste your time watching this. He needs to stick to comedies.

A dance show that divides dancers into groupings of age, group size and such. I just cannot get into this one. Too many similar routines. It’s suppose to be the best in the world, but I’m not seeing that. Most are good dancers, but not exactly the “Best”.

A divorcee wants to get back into the publishing world, but the jobs seem to go to younger people. She ends up lying about her age and changes her lifestyle to match her new younger self. A great storyline. Worth watching.

Set in the 1920s and the writing and filming fells like it’s from that era as well. Stories are corny and end as expected. A very sedate show.

Each season is a different season, with same actors returning in new roles. The 1st 4 seasons were worth watching, though a tad too gory at times. By the 5th season, it felt like they were grasping at ideas that had gore. The 8th season will have returning characters from past seasons, but is lacking the excitement I had expected.
