It's dark, mysterious, delicious, and grown up. Glad they didn't turn this into another CW show full of teens (not saying anything's wrong with that, but still). Matthew Goode is sinfully yummy as always. Oh please let's not cancel this one

Episode 5. Had to change my rating from 5 down to 3.5 stars. I'm still enjoying the show, but the MC's are a bit over the top. "I will NEVER leave him" Really, Diana? After knowing a guy for a few days. Then Matthew doing the over the top possessive bit. Hoped they'd have stayed away from these over done teenage tropes, alas, here we are.

I first saw the movie years ago, loved it for what it was: a fun adventure story. Read the books as a result, and I was blown away by Pullman's world. The movie obviously left out a lot of the religious themes, but, they managed to keep that sense of awesome adventure. I think I was better able to appreciate the movie having not read the books at that time.

A lot of fantastic actors in this series. Movie Lyra seems to be better portrayed than show Lyra . Keene seems to be missing that intractable Lyraness. She hasn't done much to earn her new name of Silvertongue in this adaptation.

Mrs. Coulter is amazing, as is Lord Asriel and Iorek. They chose to go in a whole different direction for Lee Scorsby's character. That's perhaps a good idea given that the original performance was so iconic.

Will's character is spot on so far. I love that he was introduced sooner rather than later (which makes sense because some aspects of The Subtle Knife was running concurrently with The Golden Compass).

The visuals of the show are stunning. Cinematography deserves all the stars. Pacing seems to be a bit on the slower side, but I do appreciate that we see things happening inside the Magisterium rather than focusing solely on Lyra. It's such a shame that the daemons are treated as an afterthought or pets, rather than their own characters. Pan and Lyra's close bond is sorely lacking here as well. I don't think they've established that the daemons are their literal souls (if they have, then it was mentioned in passing rather the properly portrayed on screen) I hope they work on it in season 2.

All in all, good adaptation. Will continue watching. Now, I'm off to re-read the series for the 9th time

6 episodes in, and I'm absolutely loving this show. The characters are great, loving the good guys, and the bad guys/gals (looking at you Bet) action sequences off the chain (do we still say that? Lol) I really hope we get a couple more seasons of this yumminess

I've just finished watching the last episode of the season, and I was blown away. Love the interaction of the characters, how every other person is like an extension of each other. The locations are breath taking as well. And, it has to be said, it's great to see that the majority of the characters aren't straight, white Americans. Each personality brings you a bit of their own culture with their own socio economic standards.

Love, humanity, transcends all those lines that we put in place to restrict ourselves. Sense8 shows us that we can accept each person for who they are; that we all are special in our very own unique ways.

Awesome show. Imma throw in a barrel of votes for a second season

Was a bit hesitant about the new Capheus, but, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it worked out. I so hated seeing Will all strung out like that. Oh the feels for almost every single episode. Still loving Lito, Wolfgang and Sun. What a finale also. Just wow. When's the 3rd season coming out already?

I continue to be blown away by this show, and by continue, I mean that I've watched the entire series at least 4 times now. I can't get enough. Every episode I watch, I discover something I hadn't noticed before. Granted, the finale catered heavily to the fans, I understand that Lana did the best that she could to wrap up an epic sensation as best as possible. I laughed, I cried, i was lost in thoughts. The finale was everything. I love how Kala, Wolfgang, and Rajan ended up. I 'm gonna miss this world so much

Loved the movie. Was looking forward to that sorta thriller-esque vibes; instead I got a lame, police procedural. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy procedurals, but the actors give me a reason to want to stick around with them. Dang, the acting sucks: Dash and his deer in the headlights personality, the cop chick...sigh. Plot line was a hell of a let down as well. Gonna watch 1-2 more eps to see if it improves.

Love this show. Been watching for 5 seasons now. Season 9 is my favorite so far! I miss Mary and her hot tamale train this season. Not feeling Paula's vibe too much. She always sounds like she's drunk to me (Not a comment on her person, mind you, just her speech pattern is a bit strange, to me). Also, not feeling the new format with the street vs stage. I always enjoyed seeing a street dancer attempt contemporary and vice versa. I'm only on the first episode though,so I guess we'll see how it goes

Loving the show so far. Saved up the season to binge watch it. Is it just me, or is anyone else really glad tht Finn is dead? I loved his character in the first couple of seasons, but he just kept getting more and more annoying. Then he turns into this ginormous asshat! Also, is anyone out there a bit freaked by this romance between Link and Octavia? She's what? 15/16. He's in his 30's.....

This is pretty fucking great! Expected nothing but a parody of Star Trek, but it's so much more. I'm invested in all of the characters, original storylines, relationships. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but it has so much heart

I absolutely love this show so far. I am currently 7 episodes in. It's quirky and it's funny with great acting. Kudos on the casting. Oh, and the song at the start of the episode...amazing. Definitely one of my favourite shows for the summer.

Great show, fantastic premise. Every episode had me wanting more. When is the new season starting?
