Got in my head to watch/rewatch this. All of it. Years after (in 2017).
It doesn't survives well. Major issue is all the filler they added to the anime to reach 115 chapters when the manga is about 8 volumes. Lots of stories of no consequence added to end in the same way as the original manga. If by any reason you feel melancholy... Read the comic! It'll save you much time!!
But what annoyed me the most was the constant message that women are the enemy. Through the series there isn't a single female (except her "mothers") that isn't dishonest/vindictive/hurtful towards her at some point. And most of them have no good reason for it. Meanwhile the men are always the good guys and when one is mean/bad/hurtfull he will always end up changing his heart after. Basically many girls grew up watching this and absorbing the idea that women are the enemy and you can't trust us because we are all heartless bit**es.
In life there are good men and bad men just as there are good women and bad women. Anything that indoctrinates you to believe 1 gender is consistently bad and the other constantly good is setting you up for failure. I guess this tells me more about where we come from than anything else.

Shame it went nowhere. As a movie it's not worth much. But it had potential to be a fun quirky TV series.
You can see that there is something not OK through the whole thing, some parts are good, others not, some acting is awful and then suddenly same person is doing a good job... I have to assume the problems started early on and turning what they had into a TV Movie didn't help. Shame.

The 100

Initially The 100 looks like just another teenage TV Series and you might be tempted to dismiss it. DON'T!!! This is NOT another silly series about absurdly good looking teenagers in love frolicking in the forest. This has one of the 2 best seasons I've had the pleasure to enjoy.

Another thing you might have against it... Is the result of the fans loving it so much. You might've heard horrors about the how they killed that LGBT character. We love that character and that couple. And it hurts that it's not there anymore... So fans cried and raised their fists. Sadly this ended up giving the series a bad rep that to me is out of proportion. Clarke is not "back to straight".

You need to get through season 1, you can't skip it because it will give you necessary information on all the characters and the circumstances.
Once you've made it through s01 you will be happy you did, seasons 2 and 3 are great.

Edit: season 4 was disappointing. For whatever reason they didn't have enough to fill the season. They should've done a shorter one and stick to telling us what they had and skip most of the plans that went nowhere. Most of it ended being like this: I have and idea to fix this! *it fails*. Another idea! *fails too*. Over and over. You didn't even care any more when someone had a plan because you KNEW nothing would come out of it until the last chapters of the season. And that's exactly what happened, until last chapters nothing much was accomplished. I want to think it's a transition season and 5 will be back to it's usual greatness. I love the 100 and don't want to give it up.

I suppose it's a comedy? Because many things are outrageous/ridiculous? But I didn't laugh. And I don't see where it's going, what it wants....

I guess, this show doesn't´t works for me, at all. Other people seem happy with it. But to me it's a mystery..

Catfish: The TV Show

This is one of my guilty pleasures. The show is fairly neutral, it's not trying to insult anyone, there are usually no screaming, very few tears no histrionics... which is what I hate the most about many realities. So it's easy to watch from time to time.
Also it's a cautionary tale and a reminder to be careful. I feel that older people we all know these things, but it's easy to forget. And young people does not really know how bad it can be. So it's probably a good thing that this TV show is around to teach/remind us to not trust random people we don't know.

Delicious. Easy to binge, sweet in the most natural way (not pushy or over the top, it comes naturally to it, not because they did a concentrated effort to make it sugary). You easily fall in love with the characters and their relationship. Really worth watching!! I'm in love with it.

I was goin to give it 3 chapters but I was already sick of it halfway through the 2nd so I never made it to the 3rd. Characters are simplistic, some of them annoying and serve no function except take time from a possible plot. It's a series about war and it could (should?) be interesting ,but it's not. Both characters and events are inane.
This people are supposed to be in a small town completely overtaken by enemies... but somehow they can stop and chat anytime without risk...

Season 1 was OK, Season 2 was bad. I do not recommend it.

I get the feeling we are in front of very lazy writers that think their audience is unintelligent. They had a good idea, better actors and plenty of ways to make it work... And they throw it away week after week on a lame script.

1st season wasn't bad. In the last chapters there were some silly things but all in all it was OK.

And then... 2nd season started. And apparently they gave up on trying to make it believable. They've made all main characters ridiculous and unbelievable. And then spend much time dragging on unimportant situations. It makes it impossible to care for (or at least understand) any character.

I suspect they intend to drag on all the plots for as many seasons as they can. Except they are overdoing it, so the show will get cancelled before they can close any plot.

In short... Wait for season 2 to end... Maybe even for season 3 before risking it, because at the moment (season 2 episode 5) it looks like it's probably not going to be worth it.

Update: I gave up at s2e8. Friend and online reviews tells me I didn't miss anything, there is still no reason to keep watching. I wish I didn't like so much one of the actors... Then I could dismiss this TV Series without a 2nd thought. But I keep hoping it'll get decent so I can watch.

It's hard to be objective. I LOVED this series when I was small, and like me, many of my age have fond memories of it. But looking at it now, you can see how cheap it really was. The acting, the script, and the "special effects" were rather bad. Miniseries is OK -considering how old it is-. But the TV series probably looked cheap even back then. But... I'm fond of it and HAD to watch it once again for memorie's sake. That's probably the only posible reason anyone would want to watch it nowadays.

Personally I found this series great, I've recomended it to people (with a warning that it was unfinished) and they too liked it. Sadly... it seems we are very few with this oppinion. Completely unfair if you ask me. Or maybe it wasn¡t that it had no audience but a case of wrong expectations and/or schedulle and/or TV channel and/or audience targeted... I don't know. As I said, I think that at a time when Sci-Fi was almost non-existant it was great to have it. And even without the lack of Sci-Fi I found it well made, and a good re-imagining. The original series din't age all that well, IMHO an update rather than a remake was necessary.

I still recommend to watch it to anyone who like SciFi or V, beware of its abrupt ending, you will be disappointed by it, but until you get there, you'll have a good time watching.
