I didn't know what to expect from the TGW spin-off, but was willing to give it a chance.
After the first season I must say it was a good decision. TGW
was a truly great show and TGF is continuing in the same manner.
I like Christine Baranski and especially Cush Jumbo's character Lucca Quinn was so compelling.
And Marissa Gold (Sarah Steele), isn't she great and now in season 2 her character seems to get more focus and getting better.
Again the actress was my reason to start watching the show. I really liked Kristin Kreuk since Smallville and in Beauty and the Beast. Now here she shows the other side of her talent.
The storyline also is very current. It shows what happens in a small town that is dependent one single company/factory/employer. The health of the kids should be the priority for all and everybody in the community, but unfortunately job security and greed are seemingly more important.
Also very happy that there is a native american storyline included and hope they will keep following this path down.
Looking forward to see how this will go on.
OMG!
The casting is amazing and right on the MONEY!
See how the 1% is f****** us!
The trailer hooked me already, but after the first episode ... well I HAVE TO WATCH THIS F****** SHOW!!!!!
Showtime knows it's stuff.
I see a great show starting and in the current climate this will be a major hit.
I loved this pilot episode, but saddly it seems that not enough people on Amazon voted for the show and as a result this has become a TV Movie according to imdb.com.
So this is and will be a one off.
Wish it would be different!
Maybe it will have another chance if the "Bodyguard" won't be a success.
Am I the only one who hears the Doctor Who sound?
I really want to like the show, but something is missing.
As of right now the only good thing of the show are the kids, they are funny.
And I think abc studios is thinking the same, considering that the last two weeks they aried double episodes ... not a good sign.
Damn - love it! Can wait for season 2.
I mean, what is the plan for a real scenario? Does anybody have aplan? Elon Musk? Is that the reason for SpaceX?
After mentalists, mathematicians, super-geniuses, forensic anthropologist and white collar criminals, now the FBI is getting teamed up with a magician.
Good that they started right away by giving the protagonist a personal investment to get involved with the FBI.
I love to see how the tricks are getting done, but on the other hand, as FBI Agent Mike Alvarez, I don't really what to see behind the curtain of magic.
So what is this show please?
Comedy? - Fail, so not funny. It is just summary of over acting without any real point. It is actually sad to see the poor attempt of a Nancy Drew by Skyler Samule's character Grace Gardner.
Drama? - Fail, the only drama is how ridiculous the whole storyline is becoming and how much over stereotyped this sorority gets.
Horror? - Fail, come on ... The only scary thing might be, that kids today aren't really fazed by the sight of a dead body and rather get their phones out just to not miss the oppertunity for a sick selfie with a corps. Well and Lea Michele's character Hester Ulrich with high psychopathic tendency that are crepping me out. (Still see her as Glee's Rachel Berry.) And maybe the eating habits of the Chanel's (cotton balls with sauce??)
Four episodes and I cannot stand it anymore. To many good other shows's around that are funnier, more dramatic and scarier.
Loooove Zachary Levi!
Ok, but let's talk "Geek's who drink".
Like the kind of game show, love bar games and trivia, especially when you can drink ;-P
But each episode is to short. It always ends so quickly that it makes me sad and then you have to wait for another whole week to see a new epoisode.
I will keep watching this and not just for that hot vest, but the fun game with ridiculous candidates.
