The Class Lists

Make: Television is an instructional television program on PBS, created by the crew behind MAKE Magazine. Each half hour is filled with inspiration for all the ‘Do-It-Yourself’ fans out there. With DIY project ideas and suggestions, Make: Television encourages invention, reinvention, recycling, and creating. Especially great for anyone who is suffering from boredom and/or a skinny wallet, Make: Television provides viewers with the ideas for turning ordinary, old things—sometimes even trash—into something new and fantastic! But these are not just Martha Stewart-type projects, like making papier-mâché piñatas or sofa covers out of old curtains. On Make: Television, inventions like Bicycle Rodeos, VCR Powered Cat Feeders, Burrito Blasters, or “lively and inexpensive” Miniature Robots are featured. So if you happen to have some free time, some extra craft supplies, or even some interesting pieces of trash, tune in to Make: Television and see if you have what it takes to be a great inventor. Who knows? You might just be the next Benjamin Franklin.
