This show was my first experience with Bryan Fuller and I fell in love. This is the least morbid of his shows, so it is a good one to start with. Just know going in that Bryan does not take himself very seriously, so it may be a bit quirkier than you are used to.

I really liked this show, and had it continued, I think my rating would be even higher. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and it is altogether enjoyable to watch.

I wish more female superheroes were given a chance. I also wish Marvel hadn't introduced so many shows and movies at the same time that it was basically impossible to keep up with. That is the doom of so many of these shows, I think.

I'm so bummed this is canceled. From what I remember, it does deviate from the book a bit, but I think they did a really good job. My only complaint is that it really should be a mini-series instead of a series, and it wouldn't have been canceled prematurely.
