Im a massive adult swim fan and i pretty much love all things animated. also a huge Red Dwarf fan. I love my tv shows as my wife will tell you because i watch them and rewatch them lol.
So far this show has proven to be well written and entertaining in equal measure. I like the characters and in turn the casting and I look forward to seeing more of what it has to offer.
Tired storyline written badly and acted badly. There's not much here we haven't seen before. Gripping in places but that's not enough to male show any good.
I wasn't even going to bother writing a review for this one because it is just terrible. I wasn't but then I seen that another version of the show is to be released soon on FOX. It's not a season 2 apparently it's a whole different season 1. Well if it's anything like this version I'm sure it will last about as long. We need more animators and comedy writers to get on board with these kinds of shows or they will continue be akin to this drivel and die out completely.
Utterly boring, badly made, badly written and terribly acted. I know this was fun for the younger viewer but ultimately this show was complete garbage. A Stain on the Arthurian/Merlin legend.
It's not often you can find a TV show that is somewhat educational AND rib tickling funny but QI can boast both of these claims. Stephen Fry is as witty as a page of Oscar Wilde witticisms that have been rolled up in to a point, sprinkled with lemon juice and jabbed into somebody's eye (I stole this phrase from Red Dwarf). Definitely one to add to anyone's list of must watch weekday shows.
Couldn't stand this. The jokes weren't that funny and the whole thing just felt forced. Seemed to me that it tried very hard to be shocking but the only thing I found shocking about it was that it was even on TV to begin with. As an animated comedy fan I would say give this a miss and watch something else. Rubbish.
I enjoyed this for a while but then I got a bit bored with it. I'm not the biggest Jim Jefferies fan to begin with but he was funny in this. Worth watching if you're at a loss for something to laugh at or if you're Jefferies fan but it gets old pretty quick.
What a great cartoon this was. I had lots of fun watching the whacky and (I hate this word but it's applicable) zany exploits of Timmy Turner and two fairy godparents Wanda and Cosmo. There's not much that needs to be said as it's hardly Shakespeare but this is something I now watch with my 4 year old son and that alone makes it marvelous to me. If you're a cartoon nut like me then this belongs in your list.
I liked this show but let's face it the Gangster thing has been done so many times it's almost depressing to watch. I actually had to force myself to check this show out because everyone kept on saying how good it was and they were right, for the most part. Steve Buscemi is a fantastic actor in every role he plays and is underrated at the best of times but this will definitely be the last gangster show I watch. At least for a while. Al Capone was brilliantly played by Stephen Graham, another underrated actor. Although he does seem to be getting some good parts over the last few years. We've seen it all before and gangsters aren't something to worship (believe me!) so yeah 3 stars and a well done.
I'm sorry but this show stinks. I've been a life long fan of Marvel comics (among others) but this is just a lazy attempt to squeeze more out of something that's already being bled to death. It may not make me popular saying it but this show needs to be gone away, NOW. Worst idea for a spin off ever. And that includes any of the DC stuff coming out right now.
