Marvel's The Punisher

OK well pleasantly surprised by the 1st episode. I've been avoiding this because let's face it Punisher has been done on small and big screen many times and every single time has been a complete and total Dune-like failure. However this series is looking good and Frank is actually played brilliantly. My rating my change after I've watched the whole season but so far so very good.

I was hoping for better but unfortunately I have yet to see any acting whatsoever from the pilot. Terribly executed start and the antagonist is likely to go down in SyFy memoirs as one of most cartoon-ish villains in TV history.

A true classic more than worthy of being on my Cartoons and Animated Comedy list. An actual must have for the collector. Also there's more than one The Venture Bros connection. ;)

Another example of the classic insanity that was MTV in the 90s. It didn't get that much love back in the day but I always loved it because this and Beavis and Butthead started my love of weird/funny adult animated humor. The animation wasn't great but it wasn't supposed to be. It will always be on my list of must haves for the nostalgia and laughs alone.

An old 90s classic from the Beavis and Butthead era. It wasn't the best animated comedy but it is definitely worth checking out for the cartoon fan. It has to make my list for nostalgia alone.

I don't know how this one escaped my list for so long because I love it and my two kids love it. Its brilliance lies in its writing and originality and of course its animation. I'll be sad to see this one end to be honest.

Worth watching if this type of show interests you but it can be annoyingly dumb at times. The acting is so-so and the writing could be a lot better but as I say still worth a watch if this appeals to you.

Another terrible horror/comedy. It was all I could do to muster the strength to sit though this utter bollocks. John C McGinley's portrayal of a slightly racist (but its ok if its a law man in America), gruff, bad tempered sheriff is about as convincing as Bono's totally genuine charity work. 8 episodes is too much, 1 episode is too much.

Usually when I hear the word Vampires I turn away in disgust as if someone had suggested we watch a Nicholas Cage movie but then when I heard the names Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan I immediately re-evaluated that stance. This show is absolutely brilliant in writing, acting and casting and I cannot get enough of it. If I have any issue with it it's the main star who plays Ephraim, his acting is less than memorable but the acting of David Bradley (Abraham Setrakian) more than makes up for it. I look forward to reading the novel trilogy.

Terrible. The usual expectations from a SyFy channel show hold water once again. Truly just awful.
