Criminal Minds

Criminal Minds, what can I say? So far it's been 12 seasons of pure awesome!
The series follows a group of FBI Profilers who work in the BAU (Behavioral Analyst Unit). Each episode focuses on the team working cases and the personal lives of the team members, showing the problems that arise when juggling your personal and professional lives when you have such a demanding and dangerous career.
It has had 2 spin off shows and is coming back for it's 13th season in September, clearly showing how brilliant this show actually is! If you happen to live under a rock and have never seen an episode; get watching NOW! You won't regret it!

The Crazy Ones

I feel quite sad reviewing this show as not long after it was cancelled, we lost a legend; Robin Williams.
Robin was the star of this show and was truly brilliant, he brought the same comedy to it that he did all his work and I loved every minute of it.
The Crazy Ones centers around a group of people working at an advertising agency; Lewis, Roberts & Roberts in Chicago. Although it was short lived and was unfortunately cancelled after only one season, it's definitely worth watching.

Covert Affairs

Piper Perabo is brilliant in whatever role she plays, this is no exception. I loved every minute of it and again it was one of those shows that week in week out leave you wanting more.
Covert Affairs centers around the life of a young CIA operative, Annie and her blind tech operative handler, Auggie. Firstly it focuses more on how her personal life impacts her career; pretending to those she loves most that she works in a museum; NOT for the CIA. As the show progresses though this seems to stop being a factor and her family are rarely mentioned (which is a shame really as I'd have liked for them to carry on with this, perhaps not focusing on it as much but it still being a factor). Either way I recommend watching!
I'd love to see Piper in more shows like this, she's a great actress.

Cleaners

Cleaners was short lived with only 18 episodes but it was beyond brilliant. I only started watching because there was a season break in Young & Hungry so I decided to see what else Emily Osment had starred in.
It follows two drop dead gorgeous women who turn out to be highly trained and lethal contract killers. I loved every minute of it and hope that once Emily is done with Young & Hungry (though I hope that won't be for a while yet!) that perhaps the stars will align and Cleaners can come back - I'm not sure if this is a mistake but the shows status has been set to Hiatus on sidereel since the show ended in 2014 (which so happened to be the same time Emily began Young & Hungry) - I hope it isn't a mistake and there are plans for a season 3!

Chicago PD

Chicago PD is the first series from the franchise that I watched (thanks to Sophia Bush) but the second in the franchise, it's the show that made me fall in love with everything Chicago Fire, PD, Med & Justice have to offer and I'm so thankful for that - they are brilliant.
Chicago PD follows the officers who work in the Chicago Police Department; The uniformed patrol men and women who are first on the scene to any crime and the detectives that work within the Intelligence Unit, dealing with organized crime and high profile murders on a daily basis.
This show is action packed and every episode leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to see what season 5 brings - I'm just hoping that whatever it is, Sophia Bush returns, at least to round off her story - she is the reason I began watching the entire franchise after all!

Chicago Med

Chicago Med is the third installment of the Chicago Franchise. I have to be honest here, the first half of the first season really didn't cut it for me.. It didn't have the same action and thrill every week that I had come to expect from the franchise, so I was a little disappointed.. I still watched week in week out regardless, I'm so glad that I did! The season soon picked up and lived up to the Chicago name and now I love it (almost) as much as Fire & PD.
If it isn't obvious from the name, Chicago Med is centered around just that; Chicago Med (ical center), it focuses on the ED as the Drs and Nurses do everything in their power to save lives - sometimes the lives of those beloved characters from PD and Fire!!
It's definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of the franchise.

Chicago Justice

Chicago Justice is the fourth series in the franchise and honestly, it's also the worst. Although I enjoyed seeing the franchise from a different side and enjoyed my weekly Antonio fix, I think there just isn't enough drama in the DA's office to bring us back week in week out. It's honestly no surprise that it was cancelled after one season. To live up to the standards that Fire, PD and Med have left us with, they needed to seriously raise their game and unfortunately they didn't.
It follows the investigators and prosecutors who work in Chicago's DA's office, who work around the clock to bring justice to victims.
The cast was good, it was great to see Antonio again but hopefully he'll return to PD now Justice has been cancelled, possibly taking over Erin's position (if she has actually left)?
It's worth a watch if you're a die hard fan of the franchise like myself, but if you're not bothered about the franchise then I'd leave it alone.

Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire and the entire Chicago Franchise is absolutely brilliant. I honestly only started to watch (PD) because of Sophia Bush, then a cross over episode with Fire confused the hell out of us and we realised it was a part of this whole franchise and we fell in love!
Chicago Fire follows the Firefighters and Paramedics at Firehouse 51, the heroes who run towards the danger when everyone is else running away. Every single episode is action packed and keeps you wanting more week after week.
It's absolutely brilliant and has such a great cast. If you haven't watched it already, start it now - You won't be sorry!

Chasing Life

Chasing life centers around April Carver, a 20 something budding journalist who is just trying to get ahead in her cat eat dog career and have fun with her best friend Beth. Just as things start looking up at work, home and her love life, April gets the news no one wants to hear; She has Leukemia.
I loved this show and was absolutely heartbroken when I found out it had been cancelled - they could have done so much more with the story if they had been given the chance! It was one of those shows that you can so easily binge watch - we did! I'm hoping that one day soon they decide to do a reboot..
If I could rate it higher than 5* then I would!

Charmed

Charmed is one of those shows that will never get old, you can watch it again and again and each time you fall in love with the Halliwell sisters all over again! It is my number one favourite TV show of all time.
The show follows the lives of three sisters (well four technically), Prue, Piper and Phoebe (and later Paige) and how they find out that combined, they are the most powerful witches ever known "The Charmed Ones". We follow the sisters through 8 seasons filled with love, heartache, death, family secrets and babies.. Oh and demons, lots and lots of demons. It isn't only a show about super natural beings, its about family and love, how the strongest bonds can never be broken, not even by death.
It really is a brilliant show, with a great cast and I definitely recommend watching it if you haven't already!
