24: Live Another Day

Honestly, when I heard that they were bringing 24 back after 4 years I was worried that they would ruin the show, therefore leaving viewers disappointed.. I am so glad that I was wrong!

Jack Bauer is back and better than ever in this 12 episode series, risking his life and his freedom to save the life of the very man who is trying to hunt him down. That's typical Jack though, fighting to do what he knows is right; regardless of the consequences to himself.
The show definitely returned to it's former glory, gluing viewers to their screens week in and week out - again leaving me with my jaw hitting the floor after each episode. I just wish there were more!

I honestly think that 24 with Kiefer Sutherland playing Jack Bauer will never get old, no matter how many times they bring it back.

*CONTAINS SPOILERS*

I remember seeing a preview for 2 Broke Girls and thinking it looked like it could be worth a watch. I was definitely right! I love the "Current Total"/"New Total" bit at the end of each episode, I just wish it was actually relevant to any purchases/earnings made in each episode (As the totals just seem to be random?)

Honestly for me Kat Dennings rules the show and is probably the main reason for my faithful watching every week, her constant teasing of Matthew Moy's character Han and her relationship with Garrett Morris's character Earl have me in stiches every week. I just wish that the writers would stop bringing perfect men in to play her love interest (Eric André's character Deke for example) and then writing them out after a few episodes. Let us see Max happy! Let us see a happy ending for her and Ed Quinn's character Randy!

The humour can sometimes get a little crude (especially with Jonathan Kite's rather sex obsessed character Oleg) but overall it's funny. And as crude as Oleg can be, even more so when he is with Sophie - I love the protective side of him that is being portrayed in Season 6, fatherhood has done him good.

Jennifer Coolidge was definitely the right person to play the role of Sophie, Max and Caroline's clueless, busty, Polish neighbour. Just hearing her Polish accent every week makes it worth watching, ha!

2 Broke Girls was my first introduction to Beth Behrs and honestly I sometimes get quite disappointed with her character, Caroline. I feel like after 5 years of being a "broke girl" she needs to stop holding on to her inner rich girl, it's getting old.

Season five has been the only let down season for me so far, I'm so glad they have brought it back in season 6 though. So glad that I stuck it out! :)

24 is probably one of the most action packed, ground breaking shows of all time. Each episode leaves you with your jaw on the floor, making you want more!

Not only does each season and episode hook the viewer with its action filled story lines (including, presidential assassinations, bomb threats and terrorist attacks) but each storyline really shows the viewer who Jack Bauer really is. You learn so much about his life that you begin to actually care for the character.

As the seasons go on characters come and leave, the story changes but the main principle of the show stays the same; Jack fighting for what is right. Kiefer Sutherland definitely did this role justice, it's honestly no wonder that some people actually describe him as being born for the role - there could be no other Jack Bauer.
