I rarely meet a show I don't track... :D I have lists galore as I love all genres of tv, but, hey, it means I never run out of shows! I've found even more shows to watch through some amazing sidereelers' lists! Starting conversations with lists is one of my favorite things about sidereel. I love how we can all love or hate a show yet still have a friendly chat. You'll find me dashing around the site, leaving friendly comments on reviews, shows, lists and articles. <3

Really lives up to the title.

Michael Weathely! *swoon* I so wanted him to have his own show, a GREAT show, something where he could really show off his leading man chops. Instead, he chose to do a show *very*loosely based on the life of Dr Phil (who also contributed to the writing). I can only assume most parts are ficionalized as Weatherly's character is 'irresistible to women.' "Phil, honey, let's get real, how's that mindset working for ya?"

Plus it's a despicable* profession. Doing a mock trial for rich people or corporations to discover which jurors should be picked, then using the jurors to decide how the defence lawyer, expert witnesses and the accused should speak, wear, appear in court all just sucks. It betrays everything the scales of justice stand for, just because the richest people in society - with whom I have no beef, except when they pull this should-be-illegal BULL (see what I just did there...? ;) ) - then the scales of justice are no longer even. Ever wondered why rich people always, always, always get off with their charges? This show will tell you how, oh, and of course, let's not forget, how alluring the lead character is, loosely based on Dr Phil...ugh. I hate myself even more because I love MW so much I'm gonna watch the first ten minutes, crying at what he has done to himself. Okay, rant over...but really!

*despicable - said in the voice of Daffy Duck - I may be ranting but I still have a sense of humor. :D

Update: Feb 2016 - only a few eps left and I am really going to miss this show, Alan Cumming especially, the always great Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Julianna Margulies who's poised, self-contained yet conflicted character has been so intriguing to watch. :/ Everyone involved has been exceptional, let's not forget Michael J. Fox as Louis Canning, sooooo good! If only all tv was this entertaining.

I've not missed one episode. I love this show, deserving of Margulies' depth as an actor. The one with Will, you know the one I mean, was truly out of left field. Love Michael J. Fox and now Jeffery Dean Morgan is joining the cast - any advance screenings for sidereel members????? :D

I love Freddie Highmore as Shaun. His backstory was introduced at perfect moments throughout and all were deeply affecting. There's nothing (imo) that can be faulted in this Pilot. His acting is superb and he has a great character to work with. Kudos to the writers' as all of the characters we've met so far were introduced in differing ways, with not too much exposition, plus they all appear to have interesting backstories. I am desperate to find out more about Freddie's friendship with his mentor. I wasn't looking for another medical drama to watch but this, again imo, is a must-see.

Four stars for the premiere as it was just so good, if a bit incomprehensible. I absolutely love this TV adaptation. Ian McShane as Wednesday is just perfect and so far it's just crazy manic chaos. I don't think we'll understand much of what is going on until we're further into the season. I enjoyed the book, it was patchy in places but it was still a good read. I think this will be even better.

Beautifully written and expertly acted by Waller-Bridge. She is a revelation. LOVE!

Black Adder

Written by the genius Richard Curtis and starring every single comedic actor worth their salt, Blackadder was *the* show to watch. I loved it, Rowan Atkinson's delivery was pitch perfect as the scheming Blackadder, Baldrick, his man-servant was hilarious and Stephen Fry (UK National Treasure) was his usual perfection. Throw in Hugh Laurie, some of the best plots and writing ever seen in UK comedy (and the UK does fabulous comedy) and it was the hit it deserved to be! Love, love, love.

Perfection, in writing, casting, timing, silliest plots, I loved it all. Still watch reruns occasionally.

WOW! What a start, the pilot is exceptionally good with Mireille Enos and Peter Krause capturing their characters' essence from even before the opening credits. that goes for the rest of the stellar cast as well. Fully formed characters in a pilot is unusual, mostly takes a few eps for actors to settle in. Not here.

Smart, sexy, slick, possible unrequited love, glossy, perfectly groomed from-the-salon-hair, fabulous clothing (for men and women), plus exquisite homes and backdrops all teamed with a season story arc and story of the week done with breathless pacing that leaves you wanting more!!!! All the elements for a great season and everything I want in escapism tv. LOVE THIS SHOW! Put your brain in neutral, get out the popcorn and enjoy!

Love! Love! Love! It's thrilling from the opening seconds till the last moment of the premiere. I absolutely love this show! The family is wonderful, as are the Gifted as their own (chosen) family. The conflict thrown in everyone's way is so well-written and introduced. Everyone's acting is superb. Love!
