I rarely meet a show I don't track... :D I have lists galore as I love all genres of tv, but, hey, it means I never run out of shows! I've found even more shows to watch through some amazing sidereelers' lists! Starting conversations with lists is one of my favorite things about sidereel. I love how we can all love or hate a show yet still have a friendly chat. You'll find me dashing around the site, leaving friendly comments on reviews, shows, lists and articles. <3

The Graham Norton Show

He's just so funny and bitchy, his opening monologue is unmissable, yet his gives his interviewees space to talk, unlike a lot of late night talk show hosts. He always says (and I'm not quoting this perfectly), "We let you the audience decide whether or not you like them, we don't *tell* you that you should like them." I love that. They all sit with their chosen drinks and the banter can be side splitting. Plus, Graham is just so funny, he picks great segments and everyone's pretty much sloshed so they happily go along with it.

From days past, if you ever watched Father Ted (one of the all time best sitcoms) Graham Norton was the competitive priest who tried to do Michael Flately's 'Riverdancing' in a crap caravan one very cold and rainy weekend. He was fabulous. One of my favourite episodes, ever.

Wow! This thrilling and compelling Norwegian drama is based on an idea by the exceptional Jo Nesbo. The writing, cinematography and stellar cast are all outstanding! It builds up to edge-of-your-seat scenes and feels so real and immediate. From today, one of my must-see shows.

As I'm late to the party, I also get to binge watch all ten episodes! Yay! :)

I love this show! Plus, that's a new way, to me at least, for using corncob! This show is hilarious, scary and brilliant! The cinematography is beautiful and the music only adds to the comical nature of the fight scenes. I love the characters, no spoilers, but there are some really well written characters of whom we only glimpse a little of in this Pilot. The main lead character is sad, lonely, disconnected. I imagine his life is going to be far more exciting, very, very soon...

This is already on my, 'LOVE LOVE LOVE!' list. PLEASE let them keep this insanity going!!!

Can't recommend highly enough, just my opinion. I'm going to re-watch the episode right now. :D :D :D

I know I should love it, everyone does, I feel bad because I don't, but I can't fake like a show. It's just not for me.

Giving it five star cos everyone else loves it.

The Five

Wow, off to a flying start goes Harlan Coben's 'The Five.'

I can't say much without spoilers (and I hate those) but it grips you right from the beginning and does not let go. Just finished ep 1 and about to start ep 2. Hope it continues as well as it has started. Of course, as its by Harlan Coben, the plot, characters and writing are all superb.

One thing in particular I've enjoyed is that the older 50+ characters are all very well known actors yet I don't recognise any of the younger thirtysomething actors (please don't all shout in case they're really famous). I thought everyone's acting was exceptional, especially given what they're dealing with and there are so many potential plot lines to follow that I can't wait to see how it all pans out. Five stars. Was so surprised by English accents, had just assumed they would set it in the US. :)

Came across this by accident. It's a quirky, interesting premise that really kept me on tenterhooks for the next episode. Sad it was cancelled so quickly...

American Horror Story

It's just so scary, to the point that I don't think I can continue watching - I'm wayyy behind - at the beginning of season 2 - and given that I grew up reading Stephen King and loving horror stories, I just can't understand why this show gets to me so much that I can't watch. It still gets five stars because I know it's excellent and Jessica Lange is outstanding - I feel like jumping ahead a little to see Matt Bomer (*drools*) but am too scared...yep, I'm a wuss!!! :)

Okay, I give up, and am ranting because this had the potential to be really good. It's such a waste. I really liked this at the start but after 18 episodes of constant flashbacks and ridiculous plot twists and turns, I just give up. Adding in a Scientology-like 'cult' to the mix seems like a last ditch effort by the showrunners to make it all more complex - it just makes it less credible and believable. Keep it Simple, Showrunners!!!

The constant breathless voice of the lead actress (yes, I know she's beautiful and a fairly okay (if rather over-the-top) actress but does her character have to play the ingenue and always be so naive??? Also, why has she had affairs with two of the leads and now is flirting with another trainee??? If it were a man doing so, I'd write the same thing, her character is there to learn but they just keep pushing her into more relationships - well, guess what people who make tv - a woman can lead a show and not *need* to have romantic involvements with other characters. Do they think a woman can't hold hold down a show on her own? Well, they can and they do! I am so insulted by this.

Combined with the movie-of-the-week acting by everyone else (fake long-haired Shelby and her bf and his Desperate Housewife mother most of all), it's completely lost the plot.

Last of all, the ridiculous intertwining of the lives of trainees and tutors must have anyone who's actually gone or taught at Quantico squirming at how nonsensical that would be and what an embarrassment to that fine institution this show is. Good concept, rubbish plot and casting. I'm out, I don't even care who did what anymore. I love plot twists when a showrunner can keep a hold of them but when they lose control, I can't stand it. Sad but true, I really did like Quantico, eps 1-8.

I loved Cheers SO much, every single character had their own back story, Rhea Perlman's one-liners just zinged around the bar. Sam was great, coach, NORM! Reruns would be nice to see.

Favorite show of the week. I love the McCord family! In the same style as The West Wing and The Newsroom, LOVE IT!!!!! Tea Leoni and Tim Daly have amazing chemistry, you actually buy that they've been happily married for over 20 years. It's really, IMO, hit its stride in Season 3, it's astonishingly good and current with world affairs. LOVE!!!!
