Falling Skies

I am glad this one is concluding this year. It has jumped the shark as far as I am concerned. All the night time shots get old, and perhaps they will be winding up the myriad plot lines, but I just find it harder and harder to care about the main characters. What used to be plot wrinkles are now big folds and lack of direction.

Battle Creek reminds us that not everything happens in NY, LA, Miami or Chicago. I am not sure that it will make it since it is already on the endangered list, but it is a good show with somewhat enigmatic characters that have some room to grow. The GOODY TWO SHOES character is not two dimensional and the experienced hardass is not all that predictable.

The supporting cast is AWESOME...The mayor and his brother (not sure they will be in all the episodes, but they are great character actors) and the staff and administrators all serve as great opportunities for more plots...PLEASE KEEP THIS ONE...It's a winner!

This one is TENSE. IF you think OITNB is a tough place, this makes that look mild.

Michael Weatherly took a chance, and it seems he may be able to pull off a second lucky charm series. I wish him well. The ensemble cast is developing nicely and he seems to be rehabilitating more than one person who has been in over their head. There is a positive feelgood feeling from the show, without being smarmy.

After reading other reviews, I think it is a problem for the wealthy to be able to afford a DIFFERENT justice than the rest of us, but I think there will be more of a LEVERAGE type of good deed in the end as time goes by...and maybe some guilty people pay an appropriate price, even if it is not prison.

Seems that I am right about the SELECTION OF CLIENTS not always being rich...which is a good thing!

Just keeps getting better and better. Liza's wry humor and insights make me happy I am not having to go through the challenges of being young in the modern world, yet a little happy that women are actually taking charge of their own lives...despite society's efforts to add guilt and shame.

I adored her in BUNS, and so happy she is back in YOUNGER. This single mom's college aged daughter in India is unaware her recently ditched mom is acting 26 instead of 40 something. The 20 something women in the publishing world are accepting her while her boss is being edged out for being too old (or too mean...hard to tell)

EDIT: This show has become my favorite...the issues they delve into with both feet are awesomely timely and poignant. The most recent episode explained SLUTSHAMING and how sex pics online don't harm a guy's reputation, but mess up a woman's reputation. It was handled with the show's usual DIGNITY and refusal to cave to convenience.

I find this a refreshing political drama. The family dynamic between Tea Leoni and her husband and family is amazingly poignant but not phony, and her knowledge is plausible.

The negative reviews seem to complain it doesn't live up to its potential, but I find it riveting every week with twists and backstories coming out...well written and interesting.

This used to be a fresh and funny show. I am glad it is over now as all the characters have bloomed into full fledged annoying versions of themselves, with few of the redeeming qualities that made it fun.

The so-called parenting is now reaching a new low, and M&J have not survived the transition to husband and wife as well as CASTLE. It seems the only thing Melissa adds is sex and that is all Joey cares about, so I guess they are a good match after all, sigh.

if you liked adlon in californication, you will love her now...I did and do...she is flawed and honest and earnest and clever and human. I hope to get to know the three kids too. She is dealing with issues that I really didn't have to manage when my kids were young.

I couldn't watch five minute of it. i usually like shows with women characters, but these guys were so cliche I couldn't stand it. Does anyone know if it has any redeeming features?

Oh this is getting better and better as the second season starts. It is wonderful that there are not simple answers to complex problems and the life and death situations are so real.
