Through the Wormhole

The show on bigotry or prejudice makes this a classic for the ages, but all of the shows get the viewer involved in the process. Morgan Freeman is just as good as it gets in all that he does, and his curiosity is real while his respect for science is also genuine.

Supergirl

I am being generous here, and I bought many of the original Supergirl comics (not sure, but I think they were the second story in a comic like Action or some such). Her persona in the show is rather corny, and James Olson hasn't convinced me yet that he isn't a football player from his last series, and even Calista Flockhart seemed to be trying a bit too hard for her character.

Haven

Haven had some interesting ideas in the beginning...Not sure how it has progressed after the last season or two, but the "bad boy" is definitely in love with the female lead, but somehow it seems that everything is kind of PREDESTINED, and it takes away some of the interest for me.

BEST FINALE EVER! all those wonderful characters got resolution in logical manners. I was right about losing an old friend!

The conclusion will be like losing an old friend or ten or twenty...the characters are so varied and delightfully flawed to showcase important issues that are TIMELESS...marriage, children, homosexuality, morals, culture, role of women and servants and aristocracy. It shows us the demeaning situation of working class people in an era that seems all too current.

Rob Lowe is a great balance of ego and heart...at least it will get there pretty soon. The premise of middle aged hunk finding family pairs well with the lead-in from John Stamos in Grandfathered.

This is one of the few series that I went back and watched from the beginning. It never disappoints and often startles and amuses and inspires. The core characters really seem to like and respect one another. The new girl is so aware of that, just as McGee was years ago...and DiNozzo is still for Gibbs and Ducky. Not too many shows where experience is as well respected, but this one is strong and inspires young and old in the process.

You're The Worst

This is one of the finest shows on TV...for older ADULTS as well as 20 somethings, but not for kids. The issues tackled are poignant and soul searching. The characters are delightfully flawed with traces of SQUEE.

While I wonder sometimes about the tactics they use, their goal is to get really bad guys off the streets, when they might escape prison in a courtroom trial. The relationship between the characters is very believable, as are the FAULTS that the characters have and work on fixing. Some sensitive issues, like interoffice dating, homosexuality and anger issues are well handled over time. I care about these folks.

Surprisingly, the plots and situations are getting more interesting and going in different directions. i love what is happening to the developing Jeremiah character and Vanessa Williams is another great female character along with Paige and Divya. This is a strong series that shows medicine as it is, and as it should be...CONCIERGE doctors should be the norm for a FIRST VISIT with a patient whenever possible, shouldn't they? i know HOUSE used to think very highly of seeing the HABITAT of the patient.

Other political issues are worked in well without being preachy.

Brother vs. Brother

While this is pretty obviously a plug for WAYFAIR online furnishings that are likely connected with the brothers, I love this show! The guys are entertaining, and the whole TWIN THING is just mind boggling, since I have to keep trying to remember which is which when they are not actually working on a property (then you can tell who is the contractor and who is the Realtor)

Oh yeah, it is pretty obvious that they love LAS VEGAS, and are good citizens.
