The Bachelorette

If you want to watch the bachelorette or the bachelor, try watching the FYI.TV program "Married at First Sight." At least with that, there are counselors who try to help people gain reasonable expectations and find someone who might actually be something other than the cutest or the sexiest or the most outgoing person around.

Pixar has made a tradition of NO LOVE STORIES, and ELEMENTARY appears to be a no romance kind of love story. not at all like MOONLIGHTING or REMINGTON STEEL, the chemistry between Joan and Sherlock appears to be a love of INTELLIGENCE that has little to do with physical attraction, but who knows what the future will bring.

I do wish they would improve the sound quality of the tidbits of dialog that go by too quickly with the British accent and the soft spoken Sherlock.

It is almost palpable to see Sherlock attempting to permit Joan a semblance of freedom, and she is adamant about insisting on making her own choices...surrender to another's decisions is quite difficult for anyone who is used to being the "smartest person in the room." Quite a challenge when a doctor has Sherlock to contend with.

I think this is a better than average serial killer story. Predictable is not a word I would use unless the bestie's buddy is the bad guy. Perhaps it is a bit unbelievable that a drop dead gorgeous girl is a computer hacker. I guess I am a bit too old to understand the singles club dating scene, since I did't like it all that much when I was young.

Not sure this will develop into anything but a "bad" boy reforms for a "good" girl. They do have some interesting dilemmas to solve.

If you wondered what was happening after THE GLADES...Matt Passmore seems to have a real winner with SATISFACTION. He is awesome at playing the Rat Race Victim. However, he is definitely a flawed character who (along with his wife and daughter) may have lots of room to develop.

UPDATE...episode two was not up to par...the son is just not believable as a person...too sweet.

I am guessing most of you don't remember the original nine years of Murphy Brown that happened before Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas and Bill Clinton, but please give the show a chance...the finale of the original series had Murphy Brown do an unprecedented thing back in the 80's...as a financially secure single woman she had a child "out of wedlock" THIS series starts when that now 26 year old is a much more Conservative person than his Mother, but actually has a desire to UNIFY the people of the country by checking out "flyover country"

Faux Noise put FOOTBALL opposite the series, so it is going to be hard to develop an audience, but only one of the original characters (the amazing painter, who committed suicide IIRC) is returning and for me, it is interesting to see CORKY as a well-preserved woman instead of the ingenue (could be some very interesting stories on women in the workplace too.

I hope they don't JUST lambaste trump. There are other issues in the country that could benefit from the TRUTH IN THE NEWS.

i totally enjoyed this show...of course KB is always fun. I need to get to know the characters much better, but glad to know that people can actually communicate their desires even when it is uncomfortable or hard...and they can accept sex as part of life.

There are a couple strange things (well, actually, lots more than a couple) in this romcom....but there is sometype for everyone in the office and there seem to be plenty of surprises...just when you think that you kind of have it figured out, lol.

The main guy is kind of hot too! and he knows it, but not so as to be obnoxious about it.

interesting balance of conservative and liberal and young and old and ethical and unethical with a definite liberal balance IMO...At times it is played HIGH CAMP...and others dead serious. It could be a real winner.

I never cared much for Sinese...he seems to be looking to put himself in danger or be the hero at every opportunity. The rest of the cast is competent, but the formula of dangerous overseas tourists getting in trouble is going to get very old very fast...and cannot be good for tourism in any circumstance.
