A taut psychological thriller about a volatile CIA officer (Emmy winner Claire Danes) who becomes convinced that a recently rescued American POW may be connected to an al Qaeda plot to be carried out on U.S. soil. Mandy Patinkin and Damian Lewis also star.
Political dramas in and of themselves do not do it for me, but these shows have a bit of pizazz, unusual twists and turns and acting I can get behind even when the characters sometimes irritate me or even creep me out. We live in an era of corruption these shows perhaps overaccentuate, but that is the fun of TV.
There are quite a few actors, actresses, writers and show runners that I love. No matter what project there are in next, I will watch it. These are the shows where I got to know and love them.
