I never watched the film but this is quirky enough to offset the saccharine scenes with minnie driver. That said I imagine it will join the long list of cancelled shows this season so don't get too attached.
Some of these episodes are downright creepy, not one for the younger kids!
one of the most promising shows in years so obviously it got cancelled. This would be a an excellent show to bring back as it had everything going for it from an astoundingly talanted cast to superb writing. More reaper i say!
This show deserves a second watch now that you're all grown up, the amount of references and jokes that you would have missed as a child is astounding. Congratulations to the writers for managing to cram a childrens cartoon with that much implied filth and still getting on air.

Still the most graphic gay sex scenes in british history, this ground breaking drama caused massive controversy. Reinforcing the general view of gay men as predators and paedophiles this series really missed the mark a bit. Obviously the intent was to have an honest image of homosexuality in the mainstream media but they focused the story around the inappropriate sexual relationship between a fifteen year old boy and a promiscuous manchild in his thirties. A shame as I quite enjoyed it for the most part.
this was an interesting idea plagued by shoddy scheduling and lack of marketing, never really stood a chance.
