a worthy successor to the tales of old, shame like so many other shows it was cancelled before it had the chance to get going.
Based on all of thomas harris' books this show is entertaining but thinks itself more clever than it actually is. Most if not all of the big reveals are glaringly obvious and the actor(I use the term loosely) portraying Hannibal delivers a less than stellar performance, his apparent lack of emotion looking more like a bad trip to the botox clinic than the calculating master manipulator we all know and love. Luckily the character of will graham is both written and acted superbly, he manages to convey his trip down the rabbit hole impeccably. and of course Gillian Anderson as Hannibal's therapist is a superb treat.
I honestly couldn't tell you why i like this show but i do find myself feeling for 4 of the 6 main cast. They should have told the wayans brother to stick it after he dumped the show after the pilot cuz he thought he was better then his other show bombed so he crawled back in and has negatively affected the chemistry the others had developed
A great little supernatural thriller, shame it ended so soon.
classic British tv ,many an evening as a child spent laughing at the outrageous crew of the jupiter mining ship red dwarf. It went through many changes, some good some not, and even did a series years after everyone thought it was over. the states couldn't get it right when they tried to adapt it because everything about it was intrinsically british.
A few funny moments but there are only so many ways to say I love cake before it gets old
Betty white is a goddess! that is all
great comedy, good cast, i can only assume it was cancelled because of the complaints of the US army that it made them look bad. Shame on you america!
An intriguing take on history!
Worth a watch if you're a comic fan, cancelled when the green lantern sequel was rejected in favour of yet another batman show.
