Each series brings something new! Re-inventing the same actors in such varying roles is pure genius. adding great performers each season to create an ensemble cast as rich in talent as they are in monetary terms.
If only life could be so saccharine sweet, tries and fails to add realism to a group of underachieving mediocre performers.
I much prefer the original uk version but this had some interesting ideas.
As long as you never take this show too seriously it is very entetaining
Too many shows end due to Budgetary concerns and when networks, Even syfy, would rather spend on Cheap reality shows or even non-channel related shows like WWE! then interesting programs will always suffer. Another potentially great series cut short with no satisfying ending
As a teen spin off of doctor who I really didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying the show. Ok the acting wasn't briliant but the tone of the show and it's use of the fantastic to broach themes common in teen life was unusual in british tv. A fitting sendoff to the doctors most loyal companion (of course i mean k-9) and his longest standing friend (Sarah Jane) and stands as a memorial to Elizabeth Sladen, finally back among the stars X
What the hell was RTD thinking when he let Starz take a great big steaming dump on the chest of this previously loved show. Admittedly the change in style started in the Children of earth mini series but giving it the hollywood makeover hammered the final nail into the coffin for this poor abused property.
Anyone unlucky enough to have used a jobcentre in england will have met every single character in this amusing comedy. It captures the atmosphere and attitude of those places perfectly.
Bitten is clever in that it focuses attention on the human side of being a werewolf. the drama being provided by the relationships between the characters rather than the usual monster heavy supernatural shows that seem common at the moment.
thought i'd take a look as i watched the original but sadly this is for pre-teen girls.
