** The first part of the review and the star rating is about the first six seasons of the show which have a different cast and somewhat different stories**
Being a die-hard lover of fairy-tales and all that is magical, it was obviously natural that I was going to fall in love with this show. However, this is not your regular bedtime story... the 'twist' is what makes the show and it will keep you guessing and wondering at every turn - it never gets boring! I was hooked from day 1. It has quite a complex plot and time-line but all is explained in due time and all fits nicely together. I especially love the producers' attention to detail in view of the characters from the stories as well as the costumes.

In my opinion they should have ended the series at season 6 - they even wrote a fitting ending for it! Not only does season 7 (and possibly the rest) have an almost completely different cast, the story line feels stretched and somewhat hard to believe... even for a fantasy show like this one! I'm also having a hard time accepting the new actors ... and I must say, after getting used to 6 seasons of pure talent, I'm finding the new ones very amateurish. In particular, "Cinderella" whose acting seems forced and is really putting me off from watching the show. It is very sad to watch a show which used to be one of my all-time favourites getting reduced to such a pitiful level. Unless they improve their game, I'd advice new watchers to stop at season 6 and enjoy the magic while it lasts!

Loved this show as I think it was quite faithful to the original version... great acting, great locations and awesome costumes :) A must for fantasy lovers.

Stunning like the others.. one of the best shows I have ever seen. I will never tire of saying that.

Just watched this season finally.. been wanting to for ages and I was not disappointed.. loved the concept and the episodes. I may be biased since I love anything with dinosaurs but it was a treat especially since it won't take you long to finish the season (11 episodes). Really sad that this show was not continued though.

Interesting, good actors and brilliant delivery. Was very disappointed to learn that the show was cancelled after the second season! Especially after that cliffhanger!

A prequel to the show.. although this season premiered after blood and sand, you should watch it before the others. I did (following friendly advice) and it helped me understand the story much better. Trust me, you will never look back or switch off the TV.

Probably, my least favourite from the CSI shows but it delivers good drama nonetheless.

Started out as interesting but in my opinion quickly got boring... barely scraped through the last season.. let's hope there's something good in store in the next one!

Although it started slow and slightly boring in the first season, I am absolutely hooked with the last one (season 4). This show has took a turn towards the unexpected and I cannot wait to see the finale... let's hope it's not a cliffhanger!

One of few shows that got me unwisely hooked watching back to back episodes well into the night - on week days. Still, it was well worth it. Love this show as it's got a bit of everything and there's always something going on which is why its not boring. Looking forward to season 3 - hopefully they'll keep up the same momentum!
