Very short webisodes that occur after the explosion at Pinehearst. Pointless... waste of time.
I was a bit skeptical about this show at first but since the crossover with The Flash and Arrow, I've decided to give it a go. Although it's not up there in my lists of favourites, I do not really regret watching it. Its greatest feature is the fact that almost each episode takes you to a different time or era and it's fun watching the different sets and costumes as well as wondering where they're off to now. Also, good to catch up on characters from the other shows. It has some funny moments too which make it enjoyable to watch.
If you don't follow Flash or Arrow, this is a must watch before starting the actual series Legends of Tomorrow as it highlights and provides info on the background of the main characters of the show.
Just finished binge-watching this and I loved it! It's literally a blast from the past; so much so that you'll find it hard to believe (and keep forgetting) this was actually shot in 2016! Thumbs up goes to the costume department and those responsible for the sets who did an impeccable job. The actors are brilliant, especially the kids who just nailed their roles. It wouldn't be the same without them, for sure. It was also very nice to see Winona Ryder acting again. Let's hope next season brings more of the same!
If you ignore the unbelievably, stretched plot and story line and the little details that don't add up, you will enjoy the show. Otherwise, especially for people who have seen Heroes before this, it will create more questions that it can answer and will make you shake your head in disbelief. It's as if the story was written by a bunch of bad fanfiction authors who wanted the return of the show so bad that they were willing to forgo quality and continuity. The only thing that saves it is the actors themselves which is why I am giving it a 3-star rating. Other than that it's just another global apocalypse show.
I wonder why this is here if it never aired... :/
Although there have been a number of negative reviews about this show, in my opinion it was not half as bad as they pictured it. Sure it did lose some of its consistency towards the end, especially the last season but I loved the way it was thought out, the characters, the amazing actors (some of them were just beginners at the time) and the ending. *spoiler alert* I especially liked the redemption of a certain character, who in my opinion has played both sides (good and bad) of his character extremely well throughout the whole series. All in all, I am glad I decided to watch it and you should forget the criticism and really give it a go.
Love it.. great watch for history fanatics coupled with action. Reminds me a lot of Spartacus and Vikings. However this is more of a documentary that focuses on some of the greatest historical leaders of the rebellion against the Roman Empire. With Michael Ealy as narrator, you'll be taken back in time to witness the blood trail that the Romans and barbarians have left behind. Bonus: great actors! (some of which have had parts in Game of Thrones). Whoever said History was boring?
I was not expecting to like this show so much and I am beyond disappointed that it was not continued to say the least. Although the idea behind it (future/sci-fi/robot/technology) was explored before, it had a lot of potential with very good actors and smooth visual effects. Both Karl Urban and Michael Ealy were exceptional in their respective roles and I loved the continuous banter between them that helped to add humour. I would have loved to find out more about John's incident but I've got a feeling that the producers tried to end the season on a good note to appease the fans (once it was decided that it was going to be cancelled). I do not regret watching it though and I am already missing the characters!
The show deals with an outbreak of an unknown lethal virus in Atlanta of which little or nothing is known. It deals with how the people react and adapt to their lives outside and within the quarantined area. Very refreshing to see Chris Wood in this role after getting used to him on TVD. All actors do a great job. A bit disappointed to see it go as it had potential to develop into a good story. I hope that they will give it a fitting ending at least.
