********* SPOILERS **********

The suicide scene with the french cartoon was down right hilarious, I was LOL. Hoping they can keep up the cat and mouse for the season.

UPDATE: Episode 2 and its already gotten boring. Figured they wouldn't be able to keep up the excitement of the premeir. Decided to drop it.

An amazing premeire, the production values are at a 100 million dollar movie level, the effects mind blowing, the suspence wonderful, the story mysterious and complicated. WOW.

UPDATE:
The second and third episodes go distinctly downhill in teleplay quality. And the creepy fat thing is very creepy... and creepily fat. Downgrading overall rating to 3 out of 5, as it's still a good X-Men origin story.

UPDATE: Season 2 is very slow... in the sense of little to no content. They get lost in cinematography and trying to create golden moments.... forgetting that they are suppose to be showing a story. Several several several epiosdes are about "the maze" where the main character gets lost in the minds of others trying to find out their secrets to unlock them. Its seriously boring and doesn't add that much to the characters.

BTW: Don't bother with the book "Ring Of Brightest Angels Around Heaven" from season 2 - its horrible. Bet the guy that wrote that garbage is happy they used the book on the show. The show is nothing like the book, not sure why they featured it.

Myopic dystopian highly negative mean ruthless trumplike version of the future. Its more of an old style sci-fi from the 60s with a modern twist... and I don't mean that in a good way. I decided not to watch the series after 20 minutes of the first episode. You have been warned.

The most realistic hacker show of all time, but at the same time a raucous jaunt into the highly subjective mind of the hacker hero.

Spoilers
The first 2 episodes of season 1 are hilarious. The lead female character's witty remarks to the fourth wall(camera) are ROFL funny. The actress is the screenwriter and she also wrote the screenplay (based on some guy's book) for Killing Eve. But the Fleabag series seems to realize that there is no plot and episodes 3-6 of season 1 attempt to concentrate on the plot... much to the expenses of the funny bits... it becomes un-funny and not in a good way. The mystery of the restaurant and her friend isn't suspenseful enough to hold your attention and the sister sister bickering is tedious.

Season 2 is structured better and the funny bits spread out throught the season. The taking to the camera is still very funny and you feel like you are in on the joke. The whole preist thing is great, and I like that actor playing the priest as well. I still don't like the sister bickering, but its more understandable in season 2 than in sason 1 and you can see through the bickering to the connection the two women have underneath.

I would be surprised if there wasn't a season 3.

There are 8 total episodes in this 1st and I would say last season. Its listed here as only 4... which really confused me since the 4th episode ends in a weird place like the writer had to leave suddenly. I'm enjoying it... sometimes giddily... but the gauntlet sequence with the over the top clues and maps in the 4th episode was more for 5 year old kids than adults. Now that the mystery is starting to unfold, hopefully we can get into some action and avoid more corny puzzles. One fans opine.

The first season was good, the second season is a much higher production quality and the emotions you get from watching it are more intense. The first episode of season two really makes you think about how you interact with people, the second episode is creepy psychotically scary... I'm only giving the series 3 stars... but its mostly because every time I watch an episode it kind of freaks me out...

Excellent series, the 800 Words prologue and epilogue is a brilliant idea for a show. The characters are awesome, the woman are beautiful, the plot is fun, the moments are sad or delightful... the perfect show. You will fall in love.

Edit: Soooo disappointed with the religious turn of events in the 4th season. Absolutely disgusting. Downgrading the show 2 points for pandering to the idiots.

Sliders meets the original 12 Monkeys movie. Traveling in time to fix problems, and chasing your nemesis, but.... of course... failing to stop them from causing more issues. Darn, another season. I'm only giving it 3 stars as the "I'm a black man in 1960/1865/1760" and the "I'm a woman in a man's world" gets old... even if it is highly historically accurate. The question I have been asking myself from the second episode... why don't they build another good time machine instead of the crapping proof of concept one? Oh yeah, lack of writing skills.
