Well Abigail Breslin cannot dance! LOL the whole point of the title was dancing or so I thought... and the ending of this version of the movie was so La La Land..
The singing was good by all and the story line different enough from the original but still kept enough of the plot line to differentiate itself .. however between these differences and Baby's dancing it (again for me) fell short.
Anyone who grew up in the 1960's remembers the corny family vacations/outings where everyone did embarrassing crap pretty much like in the original movie which seemed more vintage than this version... and in that one Baby did learn how to dance and it was and is fun to watch...
This one was both laughable and painful all at once... I think they tried too hard to change things and missed the mark..
Again no complaints in terms of the singing but the dancing sucked sooo bad LOL!
AWWWW Crap! I really liked this series and I'm so angry that it's concluded and on a cliff hanger to boot. This was an interesting take on the original story that kept my attention. The actors, costumes and scenery all blended so seamlessly not to mention the special effects.
How can this have come to an end? What can we do to bring this back?
For me this series is a must see!
I tried really hard to like this series but just couldn't get into it... I did watch it to the end because I thought surely it would get better but for me not so much.. I do get where they were trying to go with it only it didn't..
So I tried to like this series but I can totally understand why it concluded. Perhaps it'll gain a campy hippy following in the future if not now. The story and characters were for me all over the place ... are you a power? no? lost your power? can you get it back? no? wait... how did she get hers?
the only reason I kept watching was because I was waiting for something to happen to get the characters and story back on track ... the initial idea was cool but the way it was written was so cheesy... for me this one is a definite miss.
well you just can't fight this adversary without electricity... maybe they can harness solar power to help in the great war... regardless as much as I liked the cast, as much as I enjoyed this series at first... it just kept ratcheting up with not really any where to go... so for me I can understand why this series concluded after 2 seasons.. it did have loads of potential but...
Well to say that both Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins have swagger isn't saying enough! Along with the rest of the cast Joelle Carter, Erica Tazel, Jacob Pitts just to name a few... this cast was so believable and the story pretty riveting... Power watched the whole 6 seasons... My hope is to see this wonderful cast back on the screen again soon though I have already begun to see Timothy Olyphant in the Santa Clarita Diet series... complete departure from Raylan Givens' character... Loved this series, a must watch with popcorn bowl full!
wow! totally loved this series... so many wonderful elements... I'm sorry it ended... a must watch for all who appreciate this genre.
well it was certainly a bit confusing in the beginning... well mostly throughout as the premise was hard to swallow... for me at least... given that essentially there would be 2 souls battling it out in one body... who is to say the the invading soul should win??
This series was only eight episodes and as conflicted as I was in the 1st 2 or 3 episodes I'm glad I watched through, if for no other reason than to catch a glimpse of a couple of up and coming actors... specifically Richard Harmon from the "100" and Millie Brown from "Stranger Things".
By the end of the final episode I was kind of hooked...
Wow this series was so good... I'm sure the 2nd season's finale would have ended differently if there could have been a 3rd season.. however how it ended was satisfying though I would have much more appreciated the 3rd season instead...
India seems so wonderful in all it's flavors and despite of all it's troubles then and today... this series is a must watch and must keep a place on the bucket list for a visit to India for a different view...
Okay I admit that halfway through the 1st episode of season 1 I was going to not watch anymore because I thought this was so slow and boring... then I thought about what had me looking for this series in the 1st place... so I continued to watch and now I'm very angry!
Why oh why did they have to conclude this series so soon?? the actors were amazing and the story line so cool and it was just getting even more interesting what with all the plot twists... all I can do at this point is hope that there will be an uprising of people who like me want to see more of this series!
