well so much for that... get me to care about these characters and then cancel the series thereby leaving me to wonder what is to happen to them now? over all the series was good with actors that made their roles believable and interesting... the writing was good so why?? why cancel this series? sigh!

I liked this show... some episodes were hard to watch because they were so slow but otherwise not bad... kind of wonder what would happen if he died somewhere where there was no body of water or if there was what if it were frozen... would he keep dying by drowning trying to break through the ice? LOL!

Well I really liked this one because of all the action... the story was a plausible one for sci-fi fantasy... the actors were quite believable other than in the 1st episode where I personally felt like they were all finding their stride. It was really good to see Ann Heche and James Tupper together as they have a good chemistry going so their scenes together were smooth and fun to watch..
Nothing like being chased by monsters while trying to out wit the end of the world phenom...
I'm sorry they concluded the series before I find out what happens to (don't want to give it away) at the end!

Monica moved far away from home but not far enough! Though I did enjoy this series I do have to say that the character of Jules Cox is not unlike Monica from Friends in that she's ditzy but oddly wise at times and obviously love able. The other actors were also fun to watch... however I personally felt that the Laurie character played by Busy Phillips seemed mismatched to the Travis character played by Dan Byrd... he was just to young looking and she just looked so much more mature that the chemistry for me just wasn't there..
I honestly thought that they'd agree to be the brother and sister that they didn't have and move on but... well just watch to see what happens...
Yes it was worth the watch though maybe not a power watch weekend!

Off to a great start with this 1st season.. the writing is witty and fast delivered with tongue in cheek by believable characters... the story line is fun and Buffy like has not one but two strong female leads who are both lovely young ladies of this century... the demon makeup is a little meh but considering still didn't take away from the story...
only 6 episodes and can't wait until next season!
Definitely a must watch if you like this genre which is gently spiced with humour... Okay maybe more than gently spiced LOL!

Overall I can see why this series concluded after the 10 episodes... pretty sad really...
Okay... So this one was hard for me because though it had a lot of potential and it did keep me watching, it still wasn't all it could be...
I was intrigued at first because I thought it was going to be about a couple of friends trying to open a restaurant together and all the crap that it involves including the relationships and competition from neighbouring businesses and a bit of the criminal eliminate... yes that was it but not really...
From the beginning the story just didn't really go any where but down which is too bad because did I mention potential??
regardless the actors were good and fairly believable... the sets and costumes good... the food (which I thought was going to be the primary focus), looked amazing... really expected more...

first season and only 13 episodes... much too little... we need more episodes! the acting is terrific, the makeup for the most part really good, the costumes and sets really good and the writing great... I never read the graphic novels so I don't know the story but based on this series I want to... I power watched the whole 13 episodes as I couldn't help myself and now I'm just seriously mad because I have to wait for the next season which I hope gives us more episodes... each episode moved fast and fluidly to give us fairly well rounded story, enough to care about the characters and be sad or angry regarding their actions or circumstances... I'm not sure I've heard of any of these actors before but they are fresh and very believable in their roles... this series is definitely different from the rest and a total MUST watch.

Yup this was a fresh cool series showcasing love and friend through a long "series" of comedic upsets that sometimes left a tear in your eye... not to be mistaken with any other like minded series this one tied up the end with a lovely surprise.. the actors were fun and believable, the writing of each episode was well crafted and clever... the costumes and sets matched the situations... over all this is definitely a must see show of talent that will be missed.

This series went a lot out there but the actors really brought it home. the make up was really cool so that the aliens were not so much like from other series rather more unique.. some of the costumes were a bit unbelievable such as walking around in high heels which if the world were to go to the crapper I don't know of any women who wouldn't rather be wearing comfortable shoes to be running for their lives in... just me though..
overall the story was good enough to keep me interested until the end and speaking of the end... loved it! worth the watch for sure.

Well I avoided watching this series because I thought it would be depressing.. I mean how can you get behind these characters right?? How wrong I was! The writing was so good that I kept watching episode after episode only to find that this series has concluded way way to soon.. I can't even say anything more because I don't want to spoil another person's discovery of these actors and the roles they played in this story... but I really want to know what happens next. Really worth the time to watch.
