One of the worst series I've watched in a long time. Every episode is independent and they all pretty much brutal. One or two are tolerable. I wouldn't waste my time with this. I know I did and I wouldn't want to wish this on my worst enemy.

Marvels' Defenders is a mashup of Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. This superhero action drama is a decent blend of thrill and storyline. I have nothing bad to say about this show, if you watch any of he combined series i had mentioned, this show is a must. Good drop by Netflix.

Z Nation is a apocalyptic drama that is better the The Walking Dead. Its funny, you'll fall in love with all the characters and the story is an interesting one. Nothing more needs to be said... watch this show.

The Alienist is a period crime drama that follows a case somewhat like Jack the Ripper. The murderers victims on the other hand are young men that dress up as woman and who "work" for a living. The term alienist refers to experts who studied people suffering from mental illness were they thought to be alienated from their own true natures. The series follows a group led by psychologist (alienist) and a forensic caricaturist. that try and crack the case. The series is directed well, the time period is well recorded and the writing isn't terrible. The show is also quite slow and some characters were not cast very well... still watchable but not thrilling enough for my taste. A decent subject to be covered, just slightly didn't hit the mark with this one, watch at your own risk.

The 100 is an apocalyptic drama that focuses on a world torn by nuclear war and the fight to regain what was once lost. The concept is that the last stand for humanity is ahead. The last of the worlds population lives in space and sends 100 children (teens) who are imprisoned back to Earth to test the decay of nuclear radiation. They thought they were alone and life did not bloom... they were wrong... The story is intensely addictive... some of the dialogue and acting is not the greatest but it does pick up. The cast and characters gel well and the underlying plot is intriguing. I recommend this show to the post apocalypse junkie.

Iron Fist is a superhero crime drama about a boy who came back from the dead so to speak. This isn't an ordinary boy, it was the son of a billionaire and now majority share holder in a massive worldwide company. This boy, now man was trained by monks and he claims he was in another plain of existence, where he learnt the art of Kung-Fu. Set out against an evil organization called "The Hand", this man now tries to get his life together after being away for so long. Learning how to fight from the monks, he also learnt how to care... he is set out to change the world into a better place. A decent show, with alright storyline. Still worth a watch.

Luther is a British crime drama about a man with good morales who isn't afraid to bend the law to make his assailants break. The series is well written and the cast is perfectly chosen. For a drama it still keeps you on the edge of your seat. The underlying plot is a good one... the show somewhat reminds me of Bosch. This show is recommend to the crime lover.

Alias Grace is a period drama about the study of a girl who is put away for murder. Is she innocent or is she insane... you can come up with your own conclusions but know that this tale will touch every emotion. It will make you happy, sad, mad and hopeful. The cast is chosen well, the period is depicted well and the story is well written. A decent show that will thrill, kill and make your mind ill.

Pacific Heat is an animated action comedy that is pretty on par with Archer but not s good. You could say that this show is Netflix's version of Archer but situated in Australia. The animations are decent and the jokes are funny enough. Worth a watch is you like Archer.

Altered Carbon is a fantasy science fiction drama set in the future where we as a civilization can transfer our consciousnesses from one sleeve (body) to the next using a stack implant. What would you become if you could live forever? How much power could one possibly attain? How would the levels of society be divided? This show depicts an amazing concept that has always fascinated me, the ability to live forever and be whoever you want to be. The cast is well chosen and the story is intriguing. I recommend this futuristic fast paced science fiction to anyone who loves to sit on the edge of their seat and use their imagination.
