The Prisoner is a mini-series about a man who is brought to a village and kept prisoner. This mystery is a little slow, the script could have used some work... basically wasn't an exciting or well developed show.
Barbarians Rising is a historical period drama about the rise of the barbarians against the Roman Empire. The script and method the History channel chose was not a good one. I did not like the random history lessons (out of context) and the so called experts thoughts about every since aspect of this rebellion. This history lesson is a good one but broken in its execution.
Metal Hurlant Chnronicles is a unique episode to episode series with intelligent writing and intriguing stories. The episodes are diverse, the actors are well cast and the scripts are funny, well drawn and original. Many scenes are very cheesy, but that's the point, the directors ideals and vision is well portrayed. Every episode was worth watching and each had something to offer.
This documentary was released in 2015 as a part of Shark Week. The Great White Serial killers follows a man who tries to explain, understand and discover a series of attacks was generated by The Great White Shark. A Shark expert delves into the cases finding clues and finding the truth.
Another beautifully done BBC Documentary about animals. The photography is unreal, the time put in to this series is amazing and everything about it will make you watch it, over and over. An automatic favorite when it comes to nature, well worth the watch,
Six Feet Under is a comedial drama centering a family that recently suffered a recent trauma (death of a loved one) and own a funeral home. The hard struggles of putting things aside to help family and find what it is your looking for. For a show that revolves around death, its like a flower that blooms of life. The day to day interactions and life lessons are well drawn in this show. The actors play their parts well, the script has a very nice flow and story is original. This show is a classic.
Primeval New World follows the British series Primeval. Once again following the premise of people trying to hold back the ancient animals coming from the past surging through "anomalies". The cast is well versed and the storyline isn't that bad but the script is not very good. I think the show ultimately failed because it came out when Syfy was revamping their show inventory. There's more innocent deaths than I'd like, some of the conclusions and explanations are a little wacky plus the music is pretty bad... still not a bad show but not really recommended.
Primeval is a British Fantasy about an unorthodox group of individuals that are discovering and resolving anomalies from the past. These individuals are fighting creatures from the Jurassic era back to which they came from and has an intriguing plot-line. This show reminds me of "Sanctuary"... a lot.
Cleaners is a sexy well filmed action flick that surrounds the unorthodox lives of contact killers. The cast is embracing and the script is straight to the point and sometimes reckless. The director did an excellent job at transitioning scenes and developing the plot. The show is a good watch,
This show is simply a combination of True Blood and The Vampire Diaries and isn't as good as either of them. I lost interest quite quickly.
