Raising Voices asserts itself as much more than a simple denunciation of the horrors of sexist violence.

ERIC - SEASON ONE

Eric is more like a fever dream, with a clumsy resolution that drags on, like the entire story and its crossroads, much longer than it should. Feels as though it bites off more than it realistically can chew and is very boring, in lengthy stretches.

BODKIN - SEASON ONE

The series strikes the perfect balance between portraying Irish idiosyncrasy and investigating the mysterious disappearance of three people the Bodkin.

BURNING BODY - SEASON ONE

Burning Body is a true crime that, while trying to differentiate itself, fails to inspire enthusiasm with what, on the other hand, is a VERY interesting case.

BABY - SEASON ONE

Baby is neither proudly trashy enough to completely own a status as guilty pleasure, nor nuanced enough to get by on quality.

HALF BAD - SEASON ONE:

More shows should swing this big because even with the rough edges, it makes for a much more engaging and, frankly, fun watch.

COME HOME - SEASON ONE

Everyone behaves so inconsistently, it's like they had personality transplants between different scenes; the tone is equally erratic. We need to know more about Marie for Come Home to swim fully into focus.

CLEANING UP - SEASON ONE

The six episodes this is stretched to are full of holes. Yet the silliness is rather enjoyable to watch. It's an entertaining concept, but much of it was laughably unlikely.
