CAROL & THE END OF THE WORLD - SEASON ONE
It’s the small, often unspoken moments of detail that make this wonderful cartoon feel far more three-dimensional than many live-action shows.

Netflix series still manages to nails its emotions, and a lot of that is due to the lead performance. The true allure of the story lies in the powerful words shared across the airwaves, offering hope and solace in a tumultuous time.

Fundamentally an expensive, well-acted, nicely written, very long Lifetime/Hallmark movie, what the Hollywood trades used to call a “weepie.”

The world could be brutal and aimless... But, boredom is unforgivable. And the messenger, except for some entertaining sequences and appealing images, is a flat character who wanders in a monotonous series.
EVERYTHING SUCKS! - SEASON ONE
I always appreciate a good ragamuffin group growing together but I think the last half of the season stalled out a little bit by spending time bonding the other characters. It has some good ideas, but it is diluted in a package that does not do the show justice.

If you are asking the golden question: Is Endless Night worth watching? It is a steady 'no' from me.. unless you enjoy lackluster pacing and disenchating stories.

After stealing scenes in romcoms like Marry Me and Always Be My Maybe, Buteau proves a charismatic romantic lead in her own right. She brings her signature wit and humor to the series, making us laugh while also highlighting the very real challenges fat and Black women face in the dating and fashion worlds.

House of Usher, despite moments of intrigue, seems to lack the most central element of all Poe’s works: Passion.

It's hardly the kind of feelgood, blemish-free music documentary that many viewers may expect; instead, it is a sharply defined portrait of two revolutionaries and their still-impactful lives.
