Not the "smash" hit it wanted to become, Smash was a prototype version that Nashville emerged from. Following the show business of Broadway, Smash's writing was always a little odd and frustrating to follow, but the songs within the show were incredibly well done and memorable. The several cameos from some of Broadway's stars were entertaining and a nice addition to the show.
A remake of the British series of the same name and premise, Being Human takes three supernatural roommates (a werewolf, vampire, and ghost) and pushes them to take on real life and supernatural baddies. The light-heartedness of the series brings a lovable charm.
Supposed to be the next Family Guy or Simpsons, the antics of an eco-friendly family weren't interesting, moving, or funny.
A little boring for a supernatural drama, it's a show that had a lot of wasted potential. If only it was taken further than it was.
A reality competition set in a fantasy world sounds really, really cool until you realize just how staged the entire production is. With a cast of people that are extremely dedicated to role playing, it's sad to not feel the same way that the cast does about the whole show.
Just basing the backdoor pilot as an introduction to How I Met Your Dad, the characters are definitely not as charming as the original group and you can see where and why the show wasn't picked up like it was. As well as this, all mysteries about the mother are lost when her entire backstory and future with Ted are laid out in the final season of How I Met Your Mother.
The Cape was, in the end, a failure The storylines grew increasingly dull throughout and fell under audience expectations. It just wasn't satisfying enough for superhero fans or for "Heroes" fans.
A fantastic, well-written show following a modern day Nancy Drew. The show doesn't shy away from very mature and dark topics and cases. You'll love Kirsten Bell as Veronica Mars. It's too bad that the show got cancelled!
One of those shows that you can't help but keep watching.
While Touch began with a lot of promise, the show slowly became a too boring to keep watching. The first season deals more with the concept of fate and brings a load of interesting storylines that all tie in at the end, however that stops as soon as season two starts and there is a focus on finding Amelia and stopping Aster Corp. It's a good show, but I wouldn't commit.
