Though the conclusion isn't as lividly done as the rest of the series, War & Peace is a nail-biting period drama that would make any Downton Abbey fan happy.
I see how people like it. That's it.
What did Grease: Live do right that other lives shows hadn't done before? So. Very. Much. Performed in front of a live studio audience, Grease: Live feels more lively than NBC's productions and with its powerful cast, Grease: Live is about as classic as the original.
While Scream Queens gives off a couple chuckles here and there, this hit-or-miss series will frustrate slasher fans, but may delight Gleeks. It's an odd genre jumble. Rather than being the comedic American Horror Story, Scream Queens is Glee with murder. The concept should be bloody fantastic if done well (and it is when done well.)
While Teen Wolf shows a promising start, the series' tendency to lose actors over the course of the show as well as become more and more absurd as time goes on makes it evident that the only reason why Teen Wolf is still around is because of their dedicated fanbase.
Unnecessary and, like Gracepoint, a copy-paste drama. The US version of The Returned does little to improve the original series, a show whose flaws were quite evident. Instead of taking the opportunity to do something different, this show just follows the original plot and flops doing so.
Comparisons to Black Swan are not only inevitable, but Flesh and Bone pales in comparison to the psychological horror Black Swan demonstrates. Flesh and Bone attempts to create a dark and gritty world in a ballet company, but winds up being a melodrama about a bunch of people b*tching at each other.
Far more than a copy-paste Project Runway with kids, Project Runway Junior's talented contestants will impress viewers with their sophisticated designs.
The funniest thing about Geeks Who Drink is watching celebrity guests get stumped when asked about their own movie/television universe. Geeks Who Drink, a.k.a. alcoholic jeopardy, is for all of those who know a weeeeeeee-bit too much about the entertainment category in Trivial Pursuit (like me).
It's robots that fight. 'Nuff said.
But really. Battlebots' only issue is that, after some time, the competition's structure is lackluster.
