A to Z

A show with a very intelligent concept, it's the perfect television show for all romantics out there in the world. While things may remind you of How I Met Your Mother and some jokes fall flat, this show has a lot of heart. Its two stars are definitely worth watching and the rest of the cast has enough quirks to not become boring right away.

I'm sad to see that this show was cancelled. As usual, it was axed due to a lack of enough viewers. Despite all that, it's a really fun, entertaining comedy. I mean, it has James Van Der Beek playing himself on Dancing With The Stars!

Grey's Anatomy

Exploring the "grey" areas of medicine, Grey's Anatomy expertly carves into the personal relationships of its characters as they deal with morally and professionally challenging medical cases. You'll never get tired of the endless stream of drama because, unlike other shows, it doesn't get old fast. Viewers will become enchanted with the characters' relationships, pasts, and careers.

Lost

There are people who are shocked that you haven't watched The Wire or Breaking Bad, when Lost was around, it was the one drama you HAD to watch. Even if people were disappointed that all the mysteries weren't solved, the best part was the adventure you went on week after week. You'll end up lost in a wave of emotion since each episode grips you by the throat.

Six Feet Under

Quirky, charming, and morbid, Six Feet Under is black comedy at its finest. It successfully analyzes the human condition and its search for meaning in life, while taking lessons from the dead.

Sleepy Hollow

A fun ride for anyone who loves supernatural dramas. With quirky story lines that deeply tie in with American history and lore. Sleepy Hollow's second season is an improvement upon the first one, definitely, and I see this show continuing to stay as a hit. While the new introductions to the cast are great, Sleepy Hollow finds itself unable to kill them off and suffers from overpopulation.

The Leftovers

Tense, dramatic, and very well acted. If you're not hooked by the pilot, then you will definitely be hooked after watching "Two Boats and a Helicopter" which features Christopher Eccleston's amazing performance as a priest with financial problems

True Blood

Hot, steamy, and an entirely new take on vampires. It's interesting to see the world expand upon a "realistic" approach to vampiric life in a world where they've "come out of the coffin". Sure, the show dips a bit in fun and quality in its later seasons, but at least it's nowhere close to being as bad as Dexter in its final season. You will be disappointed by the series finale though...

Hannibal

A visually stunning series with extremely talented actors. The almost dreamy world of Hannibal offers only the most intriguing of murder cases and mysteries. While several may be turned away by the gore, those who stick with it are rewarded week after week.

Bates Motel

Eerie, interesting, and downright tragic at times. The modern day prequel to Psycho is not for the light hearted. Vera Farmiga's incredible portrayal of Norma Bates shines alongside Freddie Highmore's Norman.
