Marvel's Agent Carter

A perfect addition to Marvel's universe, Agent Carter pulls off a very good first impression in the first episode, something that viewers of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't feel that they received. Agent Carter's 1940s and film noir influences tie in fantastically. Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is a fun and interesting character to watch as she navigates through and complex mystery while dealing with both her co-workers and personal life.

Bloodline

Despite the first couple of episodes being interesting, this long winded Netflix series boasts a great cast, but comes off more as a soap opera than a thought-provoking southern noir like it was trying to be. Even though it's on Netflix, it's impossible to binge in a couple of sittings.

Slasher

Ah, finally! A slasher series worth watching! Move over Scream Queens and Scream, THIS is the only slasher series worth anyone's time. An anthology series (just like American Horror Story), fans of Harper's Island will be glad to see a small town murder mystery blow up into a full scale murder spree with lots of fun twists and turns.

Heroes Reborn

Heroes Reborn jumped ahead 5 years and forgot to modernize their story. Leaning WAY too heavily on X-Men tropes (racism, protests, egomaniacal extremist mutants (sorry! EVOS), etc.) and introducing an awkward bunch of new characters whose storylines only serve the big picture, Heroes Reborn feels like a suburban father having a midlife crisis.

So much fun to watch! Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's a spot on comedy with so much goofiness and wit in every minute that you will crack up at pretty much any joke. The charming spark that Ellie Kemper brings along with Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski is so lovable you can't help but feel happy the whole time.

Friends

Friends is just one of those shows that you will absolutely love. There's no doubt about it that this is one of the best and most influential sitcoms to appear on television. With a talented cast that is still famous to this day and a ton of wacky storylines, Friends focuses on the careers and romantic relationships of a group of friends trying to find their way in the world. With great jokes, several written by Matthew Perry in later seasons, and enough drama to balance out. Friends is a perfect comedy for anyone wanting to binge. Netflix is coming out with it next year. Looking forward to that!

House of Cards

Brutal, cold, and dramatic, House of Cards analyzes both human ambition and the political sphere of the United States. Scandal is child's play compared to this Netflix drama. Kevin Spacey, Kate Mara, and Robin Wright's performances are complex and fun to watch.

Animals.

You might hope that Animals would be as great as other indie cartoon adult comedies, but its stale humor and mediocre animation leave nothing to laugh at but the show itself.

iZombie

Quirky and charming, iZombie is a fresh crime procedural that breaks away from and pokes fun at detectives with supernatural gifts.

Ascension

An imaginative and ambitious series, Ascension is Syfy's return to a more elegant and thought-provoking branch of science fiction.
