It's a show that features M. Night helming the production. Did you expect it to go well?

If a Saturday Morning cartoon was transformed into a TV series, you would have this show.

While the first episode or so is sincere and answers several heart-wrenching questions about the transgender community, the façade falls away to reveal an overly produced spin off of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Fear the Walking Dead

A series far less intelligent and well-crafted than The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead's characters are unrealistic and, at times, inhumane. While it took Rick's groups years to become as jaded as they are, it only took these L.A. folks about 4 episodes.

Quantico

While Quantico aspires to be a progressive series like How to Get Away With Murder and Grey's Anatomy, it ends up looking like a knockoff with forced instances plaguing each and every one of their characters. The women of the show take several steps forward for character development, the men, on the other hand, are sex items and lack depth outside of the plot they're involved with.

Oh. My. God. Intern discoveries are the best

The could-have-been of sci-fi television. The ingeniously thought out (yet inept at making realistic dinosaurs) television series started out with a kind of promising start, but the end result was a complex mesh of Avatar and Land of the Lost rather than the Jurassic Park homage it was intended to be.

As someone who didn't grow up in the Dallas era of soap opera television, most of the jokes flew waaaaayyyyy over my head. Didn't stop the ridiculous situations and jokes from being funny.

The Originals

The Originals is more mature, darker, and intelligent than The Vampire Diaries. More of a supernatural Game of Thrones, The Originals can have up to (yes, seriously) 4 alliance shifts within one episode. Good or bad, The Originals makes for a fun watch.

Yes, it has Kevin Bacon. Yes, it has a cool concept. But this much hyped show falls under the weight of audience expectations when they're expecting us to believe that Joe, the guy who has so many oddball connections everywhere, automatically becomes an idiot when his ex-wife becomes involved. The Following tries to introduce characters, but they get killed off too soon for us to care at all about them. Watch Hannibal instead.
