While it was funny and nice to see everyone come back, the night was oversaturated with every possible character. It is nice to see the whole SNL ensemble to be together, even if it was just for one night.

A very realistic and sweet comedy, Transparent has a very powerful premise, but like some of its characters, it struggles to find its own identity.

Masters of Sex is a show about relationships. Making sex a normality rather than a spectacle, Masters of Sex focuses on the psychology and social values surrounding sex at the time. Like Spring Awakening, this show analyzes characters discovering themselves expertly.

This made-for-Syfy-Survivor-copycat has ludicrous rules and dead drama that overshadow the show's conceptual themes. Definitely a missed opportunity.

An ambitious and complex science-fiction show for Syfy to take on, this 12 Monkeys adaptation introduces the plot better than the movie, however it's hard to tell if 12 Monkeys will truly be able to extend the film's plot without buying too much time. At the moment though, 12 Monkeys is an excellent adaptation that take its own spin on the series while maintaining the core personality.

With an intelligent premise and gripping acting, The Missing's slow and subtle pace isn't enough to bring the story to life like it should.

There doesn't seem to be a genre Outlander isn't as it is a science-fiction, fantasy, period piece, drama with medical procedurals and romance. Outlander's an emotional series that will delight many with its Scottish charm.

This Netflix sponsored creation finds itself edging away from traditional anime and into more fluid story arcs. Battlestar Galactica fans, however, will groan when they begin to notice all of the parallels. It's a bold series that misses its target entirely.

David Lynch's quirky and odd crime drama has stood the test of time with a very large cult following. Following two detectives trying to find Laura Palmer's killer, the complex dialogue and dream sequences within the show are enough to intrigue and entertain. Twin Peaks will be brought back from the television graveyard, so start binging!

A boring series with a boring mystery, many Harper's Island fans expected Happy Town to be the next grisly series to watch. However, ratings quickly declined for the show and those who stuck with the show were left either uninterested or disappointed.
