Only possible reaction so far is: meh?
The Returned started with an interesting premise, but the show shifted too much focus onto the characters it had already introduced rather than bringing you a drama that analyzed, say, more than six characters. Although it's well-written and the acting is fantastic, The Returned should have been an ongoing series rather than a miniseries
A really good return of DC superheroes to Cartoon Network, it's sad to see this show get cancelled. While the humor is spot on, the story lines and tone of the show vary quite dramatically from episode to episode. Along with this, the largeness of the DC universe adds lots of complexity that may be too hard to follow at times.
A good and interesting adaptation of the book, Alice's viewers will get lost in Wonderland much quicker than Alice with a odd plot and weirder mechanics. The adaptations for each character were interesting, although I wouldn't say great.
A very, very interesting spin on the Wizard of Oz, Tin Man's surprisingly dark story can get a little silly once you get closer to the end but it makes up for it in heart (or lack of, since this is a show called "Tin Man"). You'll also be intrigued by their world as the choices they made for the adaptation are both bold and fascinating.
Interesting, quirky, and a lot of fun to watch, Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, and Nathan Fillion bring a magic to the screen that is undeniably charming. Following an aspiring super-villain, the musical is extremely creative and has really good songs to match. Still waiting for a sequel...
While Empire does bring forth very intelligent themes and storylines, it's a shame Empire doesn't introduce those with the subtlety of Nashville. Empire is still going to be a pretty popular drama, even if it's very hit or miss. Who on Earth thought the background music was a good idea?
Sad to see a show with so much potential get cancelled, however you can't blame them once you notice how not dangerous the villains are and that the only drama they have to offer is that of a love triangle and some betrayals. The Tomorrow People refreshingly had dark character origins, however the dark mood didn't stick.
Avatar: The Last Airbender's fun cast of characters and mature storylines are enough to entertain young and old. Just make sure to never watch M. Night Shyamalan's movie version.
A political procedural, Madam Secretary has a lot of potential if it means to fill The Good Wife's award-winning heels. Téa Leoni is an amazing casting choice to lead this show as Elizabeth McCord, a CIA analyst turned Secretary of State. However, the weekly cases lack depth and are awkwardly solved by the end of the episode.
