FlashForward

A post-Lost drama that tried to win over that same audience. FlashForward over-exceeded its premise and wasn't able to live up to be entirely interesting or entertaining. It quickly became too complex.

Revenge

Revenge's smart concept and acting may attract viewers who love prime-time soaps, but, over time, that once attractive series has been stretched out to an almost campy absurdity.

The Amazing Race

A fantastic game show that takes its contestants and viewers around the globe, enlightening and entertaining them along the way and introducing audiences to niche qualities of international cultures. The Amazing Race is amazing.

Gotham

Gotham's cursed by the reputation it has to uphold, but that reputation is the only thing keeping it from getting cancelled. Once a daring and bold perspective of Gotham that was going to explore its heroes and villains in a time before Batman, Gotham rejected that notion by having Bruce Wayne either appear in or be the star in every episode. While the villains have the potential to be interesting, they are rarely seen and only manage to pop up for a quick cameo. This isn't a deep, dark look at Gotham from the police viewpoint, it's just poorly used hype.

Haven

A sci-fi, mystery drama, Haven boasts a talented cast and intriguing story line. If you liked Eureka or Warehouse 13, this is another Syfy show to pick up on. While its monster-of-the-week formula may get a little corny or irritating, the mythology episodes of the series are what fans like to see.

Harper's Globe

Harper's Globe happens to be a web series that even fans managed to overlook. While it wasn't all bad, it doesn't add anything to the series.

Gracepoint

Gracepoint really makes you wish you wouldn't have to compare it to Broadchurch every second of viewing because it's a cut-and-dry remake of an otherwise far superior British counterpart. You may have found it to be good if you watched this version first, however fans of the original will be disappointed and a little miffed.

Whodunnit?

While it attracted murder-mystery fans, Whodunnit?'s contestants and viewers had to deal with very, very fabricated drama and "Oh my god, he got murdered!" moments. While the host is delightfully dark, the challenges are too simplistic for fair gameplay and the finale was a huge let down (It had less to do with sleuthing and more with dumb, dumb luck) The killer's reveal in the show was also not a big surprise, as the killer can't be voted out. Glad this show got the axe.

Capture

An amazingly high-tech reality show with a Hunger Games feel to it. The competitive spirit is high among every team as they all avoid being caught. The best part of the show is the introduction of "sabotage" and traps, which make the game even harder for everyone on the run.

The Strain

The Strain is the biggest let down of the summer. If you're expecting something thought-provoking, then go somewhere else. You'll care more about the scares than you do any of the characters.
