This thrilling contemporary take transforms the classic Tarzan tale into a rapid-fire adventure, an intriguing mystery and, most of all, a fiery love story. The WB network took a real risk with the jungle lord, and decided to update him for a modern audience. That idea could have backfired in so many ways, but instead, what the viewer gets is an entirely new Tarzan mythology, and it's extremely good. Although there are only 8 episodes of the series, the Tarzan is a little undiscovered gem of a show. Each episode improves upon the last. This Tarzan is worth watching, especially if you appreciate great dialogue, plenty of action, and two characters that fight to stay with each other, no matter the odds. The Tarzan writers were brave enough to let the hero's dark side show through, making for a much more intriguing protagonist. This Tarzan is capable of sudden bouts of violence and anger one moment, while the next moment may see him comforting a small child or protecting Jane. It grabbed my attention from the opening scene. I never once got bored or disappointed in the way the characters acted or did something. The cast were amazing in their roles. Travis and Sarah's on-screen chemistry was out of this world. I like that Tarzan and Jane' affection for each other is developing rather slowly - it has a grown up feeling to it. It's a shame that the WB chose to cancel this show just as it was finding it's footing. I was really sad when it ended. I don't think they gave as much of a chance as they should have. This show had so much potential. A show is supposed make you wish that you were there with the character(s). It's supposed to make you anxious for the next episode and I know that is what this show did for a lot of people who watched it.
I remember watching the film when it first came out and was fascinated by this new concept of a way to travel to other worlds but doing it in real time and not set far flung into the future. The series is deeply rooted in real world military thinking and our own modern world, and because of that is probably the most relatable sci-fi series there is despite it's age. Excellent cast that truly grow on a person week after week. I liked the humor, the banter between members of the team, and how the SG-1 team is made of such different people that they actually complete each other. Characters may be on one side of the galaxy fighting an army of genetically engineered warriors and their false God rulers in one episode but drinking Guinness and eating pizza in the next. Fantastic series with a wonderful cast. Very good show, although it does mess up sometimes in details from show to show. Even some great episodes where it pokes fun at itself or the inconsistencies in a science fiction series. Stargate has something which appeals to everyone, whether it be humor, action, or the fact that the characters are so likable. The two biggest selling points of SG-1 are it's writing and it's performances. This show has lots going for it; intelligent and convincing plots, great multi-dimensional characters, superb actors (both major and minor players), expert direction, continuity of story, consistent use/appearance of sci-fi technology, witty but subtle dialog and almost as an aside, stunning FX. Fans of the movie get to further explore all the ideas: The Stargate system, used by humans to travel the galaxy for thousands of years; Egyptian, Norse, and alien mythology; true science fiction - with fictional devices and concepts based on current science; and human exploration of our known universe –part of what made Star Trek so popular. You see the characters develop over time, the quirky unexpected humor, the use of an alien who doesn't fully understand American English (like Data), the struggle of the oppressed, the lengths humans go in order to survive, politics and government bureaucracy, and the underlying tenet that there is more to human life then our brief appearance on planet Earth. I loved that SG-1 kept the mood light from time to time and wasn't so serious all the time. To truly appreciate SG-1, you should watch it from the beginning and see how intricately the plots work.
I am a huge fan of superman. I was very excited to watch this show. The show is great but it did have several flaws. They brought some characters in too soon and others (who were important parts of canon) were killed off too soon. They often deviated from established Superman canon. This show has a brilliant theme song. This show evolved throughout every single season and seeing Clark grow from a boy from Kansas to becoming the Greatest Superhero of All Time was such a perfect transition from season to season. Smallville, is a very intriguing, genuine, original show with intelligent characters, superb acting, and excellent story lines. This show is heartwarming, some scenes made me tear up, other scenes made me yell at the screen from the great acting, well written scripts and emotional impact of the scene. Tom Welling, Erica Durance, and Michael Rosenbaum were bought the characters to life. They made Smallville and Metropolis feel real, like you can actually go there. This show was ahead of it's time, and paved the way for all the CW shows we see today. It was a superhero take on the booming high school drama show in the style of Buffy, Veronica Mars and Roswell. As the show evolved it reflected the revolution in live action superheroes that was happening in the mid 2000's. It marked the transition of these shows from a cute gimmick to what we see today with The Arrowverse. None of these shows would be the same without Smallville to break the ground. Smallville was a great series full of heartbreak, relationship goals, do's, don'ts, high school, superman all rolled up. This show explained that there is a lot of hard work, dedication, sacrifices which superheroes have to do, to be what they are. I especially enjoyed the back history between Lex and Clark and watching the fine line between the choices Lex makes that turns him from good intentions to the dark side. I really liked the little inside jokes referencing Clark's future role as Superman. I really didn't like the ending. It was very disappointing. All the build up in the final season was not realized.
My favorite incarnation of Sherlock Holmes. The thing that I don't like is the the wait between Series's and that there is only 3 episodes per series. I like the length of the episodes. This is truly an amazing show, every episode is a masterpiece. I like how the deductions pop up on the screen so that you can see what Sherlock sees. Benedict and Martin's acting skills are flawless. They are really great actors. The cast could not have been better. The supporting characters are all well cast. Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman, have gone so deep into the role and it did with such perfection. The relationship between Sherlock & Watson is fabulous. This show can make you laugh like a comedy, can amaze you which you would expect because its a thriller genre, and can make you cry in its emotional moments. The story plots are very interesting, keep you glued to the tv. This show is the best mystery/thriller, it is full of suspense, and sometimes mind-bending. Each episode of 'Sherlock' you get more and more attached to the characters. Moffat and Gattis should be given great respect for they completely succeeded in building an amazing 21st version of the Arthur Conan Doyle tale. It also has amazing camera movements and awesome cinematography. A good mix of drama, thrill, suspense, humor, romance, and of course mystery. The series is short yet detailed and each episode really explains what's happening. It shows us the battle of addiction and it also shows the audience that being smart doesn't always make you a winner. This show is set in the modern age so perfectly without losing the historical elements that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle gave us. The grit and reality of the way Sherlock is portrayed gives true representation of how I think he should be seen. It shows the dichotomy of man at his darkest and at his best.
I only started watching it because of David Boreanaz. He is a great actor. I stayed because I think this is an amazing show. I look forward to each episode. Every episode of this series is a thriller and is suspensefully entertaining. The cast has excellent chemistry with one another. I look forward to seeing how the Seal Team dog fairs in the war zone. Having never been in the military I don't pick up on many of the super fine details not being perfect. it seems like it is fairly accurate which is all you can ask for when it comes to Hollywood and it mixes drama and realism in a great way. Really hits you in the feels with rich story lines, great acting, production value and endings that are not always happy/satisfying. It is riveting and unbelievably entertaining. After each episode, I feel so blessed to be American, and living in the USA. I thank all those who choose to serve for being brave and courageous, putting our country first each and everyday. I am so grateful for this program calling attention to the sacrifice Veterans and their families go through while serving and protecting our country. Veterans and active duty are the the reason we live in a free country. The script is fantastic and the actors have amazing chemistry. This show takes you from the nucleus of the team, to the larger connections of the military and to global goals. Seal Team depicts the daily news in action, from the bonds they share, their intense training, the lives they lead, our amazing technological capabilities and awesome crafts and weaponry.
Upon announcement of this reboot and the potential differences it will have from the original, I dived into the first episode with an open mind. However, I still couldn't help but feel conflicted with the major changes. This series brings its own uniqueness. Liz and Max have obvious chemistry. I love that Liz is a strong female character, she's intelligent and she stands up for herself. I also love that Max isn't inherently good. You see sides of him that make him kind of scary but not in a creepy way. It lends another dimension to the whole alien story line In terms of the story line, kudos to the writers for setting the stage after the college years. Exciting things can actually occur after the age of 18, and I'm thrilled that the CW might actually understand that there are people over 30 who enjoy the sci-fi, fantasy and fiction genre. There is nothing wrong with teen drama, but we have lots of it already. The show deals with aliens but still manages to stay grounded in something real. I think that's because of the way the show takes time showcasing each family and their bonds. Each family whether is be the Ortechos, the Evans family, the Valenti's, or Maria and her mom has love between them that binds them to each other and the town. I watch shows become I want to escape reality and enjoy an alternate world. I don't want to watch a show for a hour that's going to ram political issues and ideology down my throat. If you absolutely have to have politics in the show, don't just have one side of the political spectrum. Try to be more be balanced and show all sides. I personally think they should have introduced a new character who was of a different sexual orientation and put that person into the inner circle of the main characters, instead of altering an already established character. Beautiful visuals, the potential for some great story lines, romantic chemistry, and some well made casting choices are all in it's favor.
A much loved cult favorite. I was hooked on the series from the first episode on. I enjoyed the romantic involvements, the comedy, the drama, the many heart wrenching scenes, and loved the final episode. When the last episode ended, I felt a great sadness that I would likely never again see these lovable aliens and their human friends. It was a show that left an indelible impression on my mind. The episodes are more like movies, they didn't just pound out a t.v. show every week. It sets teenage drama in the background of science fiction. It really has it all-love triangles, drama, character development, mystery, lots of funny bits, strong female characters, stories about friendship and sacrifice. Great music that you'll add to your playlist too. You will be sure to laugh, cry, and wish for that romance that is so strong it hurts. Great chemistry between the characters. The story line progresses greatly throughout the three seasons jam packed with action and chemistry. Actors, story line, cinematography everything was was very well done. This show was a way to symbolize common human fears in an imaginative parable. Issues that are woven into the story line include not knowing who you are, the experience of being a foster child, keeping secrets from parents and other authority figures, the danger of making close personal connections with others, and the isolation of being in or from one's own strange world. The storylines were always satisfing and creative. Each episode we learnt interesting facts about each character, and it was filled with suspence. The most interesting aspect of the show was the central story, the relationship between Liz and Max. It was real and touching and the viewer felt for them, we followed the heartache and the happiness. The chemistry between Jason Behr and Shiri Appleby was amazing.
I really loved this show. I thought the premise was very interesting and had a lot potential. I looked forward to watching it each week. The show was filled with suspense, action, romance, comedy, knowledge and all kinds of genre. Apart from the cases they work on every episode, there are deep connections between the team and every character is well built. You can even learn some things about science, math and things like human psychology and behavior. There are some episode that made me tear up and scenes that had me laughing out loud. I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters. The characters, the humor, the action and comedy of the episodes made this entertaining to watch. I really did not like the ending it was terrible. i think they should give a proper ending to the series. They need to tie up all the loose ends. The series and show as a whole feels unfinished. I thought it was exciting, fun and just amazing. I loved watching the team grow stronger and closer over the series, its just a shame they completely ruined everything in the last episode, destroying everything we'd come to love and then ditching the series.

The writing is interesting, characters are well developed, plot lines were intriguing, and there was comic relief. They do a good job masking the transition when they show panorama shots of Vegas itself. The actors have all been very well chosen for their roles. All of the primary and supporting cast are engaging, attractive, and believable. The guest actors are well-chosen. I love it for the high-paced, fast-moving action in which it contains. I love the way it gives a large overview of the state of Las Vegas and how casino floors really operate. Las Vegas has a different story line each week and keeps the viewer guessing as to what will be the ending in each episode. The team work and star power on this show is amazing. Very reliable entertainment, as Las Vegas amuses as well as intrigues. The plot lines of each episode are new and exciting. Some episodes are funny while others are serious. It's a show that doesn't take itself too seriously and knows it. I was very sad when I found out this was cancelled. This show ended so terribly on a cliffhanger, that left so many questions unanswered and plot lines unfinished.
I loved this show. Knight Rider was one of the staples of my TV diet in the '80s. The main attraction was that...CAR. I swear, back then, that jet black Trans Am was awe-inspiring. It really defined an 80's classic and that decade. Great action mixed with comedy. It was a good mix sci-fi, as well as drama, and action. Knight Rider wasn't a show that was trying to change the world, it was merely a one hour action/adventure block of entertainment. Knight Rider is an endearing and nostalgic series that finds a way to entertain. The fighting stunts were enjoyable, as was the idea of a talking car and how KITT was improved from season to season. The casting was well done. Hasselhoff was gifted with a keen sense of humor and wit, which allowed many of the outrageous stories of Knight Rider to work and not be taken too seriously. The supporting actors like Edward Mulhare and Patricia McPherson complemented Hasselhoff wonderfully as Devon Miles and Bonnie Barstow. It is rare that a cast gels so well like this, and in many ways Knight Rider was more about the characters then the stories or KITT. Knight Rider remains one of the most fondly remembered action adventure TV shows of the 1980s. The show was a fun yet not too serious one hour adventure series. KITT and Michael were a great team their relationship was really great there are times i wish my car could take and cared about me like KITT cared for Michael.
