You should watch because it's a reliable weekly dose of sparkle, glam and extra-ness, along with plenty of hair inspiration, in a dreary world.

MY NAME - SEASON ONE

The series is quite the spectacle packed with a mixture of emotions, preferences, and connotations. It is gruesome, horrifying, but still an exhilarating watch. I can’t help but drum for Yoon every single moment, she’s facing an opponent. Viewers will definitely be rooting for her as she blossoms from a caterpillar to a lethal butterfly yet still gentle and tender.

MY ID IS GANGNAM BEAUTY - SEASON ONE

The drama might look mediocre at first, but it displays the “after” effects of plastic surgery and how the “pretty” people perceive it. My ID is a Gangnam Beauty is a perfect example of how humans look down on a not-beautiful person. Moreover, the same does not stop even after a person tries to change themselves. Hence, it is clear that people and society never shut up. The beauty standards are high, but there is more to life than facial structure, pale skin color, and perfect lips.

The drama deals with other problems by showcasing family issues celebrating career women and elevating feminism.

HOTEL DEL LUNA - SEASON ONE

This K-Drama offers countless opportunities to become used to the characters to where I became so attached to them that it was hard to see them go. If you fall in love with the characters, be prepared to cry multiple times. The intense scenes of love and violence keep us rooting for the characters from start to end of this unexpected gem.

OCTOBER FACTION - SEASON ONE

October Faction has more than enough family angst to keep a viewer interested for one season. Now, if there's better acting and more monster hunting added to the mix, the show will be a hell of a lot of fun.

A LOVE SO BEAUTIFUL - SEASON ONE

STREAM IT. A Love So Beautiful is a light dramedy that promises to not take up a lot of your time and concentrate more on the romance aspect than anything else.

CHEAT - SEASON ONE

A devilishly entertaining, slightly repellent, and entirely addictive thriller. Cheat has two very good lead performances and is just short enough to tells us that the storytelling won't take the viewer down blind alleys.

RUSH HOUR - SEASON ONE

The Rush Hour movie franchise is unfortunately downgraded for TV, right down to the casting of... unknowns Hires and Foo as Carter and Lee. They may be aware they're in a buddy cop show, but lack any of the chemistry that such a pairing should entail.

MIDNIGHT MASS - SEASON ONE

There will be screams, yes. There will be blood. But not before Midnight Mass includes a few too many exhausting monologues.
